Does not really work!!!
When the room is extremely hot no cool air comes from the product...save your money. Maybe a old fashioned box fan would work better!!

It's cool, not cold
This just worked okay for me. Never really cooled the small room I was using it for. Worked just as good as a regular fan. The cooling mode didn't seem to really make a difference.

Replacement died right when the return window closed
The first one broke pretty quickly; just stopped blowing cool air. The replacement lasted right after the return window closed; the drain stopped working.

Excellent evaporative cooler
I got this before a ten day stretch of 100-112° weather and it was great! This coupled with my little window AC kept my apartment about 77° which is 5°-10° cooler than it usually is with just the AC. The water lasts about 9 hours or so if I fill it to the top. I top it off before bed and before going to work and have had zero issues with leakage or running out.The only reason I took a star off is two of the little ice packs it came with split opened after a few weeks of use. I have others that will fit in it but that was a little disappointing. Ice and ice packs in the water reservoir make a huge difference. Definitely recommend.
