The shoulders straps comes paddled, perfect size for a 8yrs old. my son loves this backpack it has two mesh bags on the side for water bottles. LOVE LOVE LOVE this backpack and lunch box. My daughter loves being able to carry her lunchbox on her shoulder. So convenient, durable, it’s so cute. The backpack has tons of space and I love the design. One of the best backpacks we’ve gotten.

Perfect size for my 8 year old
Backpack is decent quality. Lunch box fits a bento box but tight fit with an ice pack. Strawberry pattern is pretty. Zippers seem decent quality.
