I set this machine up (read everything included inside as there is foam installed for shipping that will allow the unit to leak if not removed) and after reading the user manual and learning what each button did and how to adjust settings I set it for 65% at the highest mist setting and everything was great. The reservoir is large and as such you don’t have to refill very often. I didn’t have any issues with leaking.UNTIL:I was cleaning and I moved it with water still in the reservoir. A couple of minutes after moving it I heard trickling water. There was a steady stream of water coming out of the humidifier flowing onto the floor. I immediately took it outside, (the door was closer than the sink) dumped the water, dried off the base and went inside to clean up that mess. I then put the humidifier back in its place, refilled it (without moving it) and no leaks!HOWEVER:The water trickling out seems to have damaged the electronics. It goes haywire now and will randomly adjust the humidity setting. One moment it’s at 50%. Then suddenly it’ll go up to 85% then back to 70%. So I’m pretty sure it’s fried now.Pros: huge reservoir, easy to clean, clear reservoir means you easily know how much water is still in thereCons: the floater that stops the base from overflowing seems to not work properly if you move the unit and despite the base sitting below more than a gallon of water they don’t seem to have waterproofed any of the electronics. So at some point they probably will get wet and stop working properly.UPDATE: I increased the rating to 3 ⭐️. After letting the unit sit till the next day everything worked properly and I haven’t had any issues since. So overall while it isn’t the highest quality it’s serving my needs well

I purchased this 1 months ago and all seemed well. I cleaned it as specified by instruction. gently wiping with a soft cloth. It worked great. I loved the settings and the large tank. But what they fail to tell you is that where the ultra sonic plate is, they do not seal it so it can not leak. all the while it is dripping or oozing onto an electronic board right under this item. which will create a short and disable the unit. also when adding water be in mind of temperature, when winter comes water is ice cold and indoor temps are warm this creates sweat to form and can result in the same moisture. which can short out the unit. I hope this helps someone. if at all possible try to seal the ultra sonic plate with super glue or something so it can not separate and leak.

I live in CO so very dry climate and I was worried about my plants this winter but this humidifier is proving to keep them lively and happy!

Works as should, using RO water and hardly needs cleaning, run on 1 or 2 and won't eat up the water

HAVING A HARD TIME KEEPING IT PLUGGEDI INTO HUMIDIFIER, WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A MORE SECURE PLUG. DO NOT KNOW WHO TO CONTACT. ALSO NEVER WAS TOLD TO REMOVE THE SCOTCH TAPE ON BOTTOM OF UNIT AND THERE WAS WATER ALL OVERL

The water reservoir on this thing is fantastic. The handle makes it easy to carry despite the volume of water. Trust me I have two bad shoulders. The only reason for dinging them one star Is due to the mist flow. Others have a directional head to it which this does not. Apart from that I have for sitting around that I gave up on having bought this one. Easy to program and runs forever

I fill the whole thing and on level 1 for 9+ hours at a time, I can go about 4 days before refilling! It's super quiet, you can turn the light on and off, and change the intensity on the flow. I've been told I can set the humidity level (%) on it and it will auto shut off once that level is met. I have yet to try this out yet, I only use it to sleep at night since I live in the desert.Added plus is my plants love it and my cat who is normally a giant static ball no long shocks me!Highly recommend this, though I did get it on sale. I would probably still pay the full $50 for it though, it's that good.
