1) This came with a CD which contains .PDF files and supposedly the app files for your phone (both Android & iPhone), but I wasted a lot of time unsuccessfully trying to get the app's .ipa files to transfer from the CD to my iPhone. That didn't work. Skip that and just get the "InCarDoc" app from the AppStore directly.2) Several reviewers have said that they could not get their phone to connect to the Bluetooth OBD II device. It didn't show up under my phone's Bluetooth, but when I opened the "InCarDoc" app, I was able to click the "Connect" option in the upper right and it **did** connect to the OBD II device.3) The price for this product was low, and once I successfully connected the app to it I was able to read codes and reset them. If the instructions in the PDF had directed me to the APP store and explained how to connect from the app (instead of trying to get software from the CD to my phone, and trying in vain to get it to show up in my Bluetooth settings), I would have given this a 5 star review. But since the instructions were so poor, I'm giving it 3 stars. The bottom line is that it did work for me, but wasted a fair amount of my time getting to that point. I hope this review helps save others some time.

Engine studdered and threw an engine code in my 2018 Equinox. I suspected filling my tank with bad/old gas from a mom and pop gas station as the cause. I was right. Plugged in this scanner after installing the TORQ Lite free app on my phone, got the error code identified as lean fuel mixture and cleared the code and code history. It was simple to do, and it worked.

Takes just a bit of tech savvy to get the app from the included mini CD to one's phone. Other than that it was simple. Need the warning about the Pandora bug, my phone would not recognize the blue tooth code reader until I uninstalled Pandora.

This product is incomparable with the 2006 Triumph Rocket 3 Classic.

I guess being longer than the others I've owned could be a good thing. You don't forget to pull it out :)It does work great though.

Works great, good deal. Keep old android phone on hand for using one of these.

Helped me pinpoint a bad point on my engine within 30 seconds. Easy to clear the error code, too.

Amazon filtered my search for the item I needed for my car. I selected one of the products that was recommended. When I clicked on the product it also confirmed it works for my vehicle. When I received it, it wasn’t even close to working with my vehicle. I also ordered it based on it was going to be delivered the next day, which it wasn’t. This is not an acceptable way to do business. I shouldn’t just be refunded, I should be reimbursed for wasting my time.
