Finally!
I have been searching and testing harnesses for my little houdini for a very long time, 2 years as a matter of fact. He is clever and squirmy and small, he can get out of most of them. This one, he can not! With the added benefit of the no pull clip in front, walking has become more of an enjoyment than the struggle it used to be. Foam padding in the straps make me feel a lot better. I know he is comfy!

.Excellent
Very nice sturdy harness, and best of all my dog can't get out of it and go charging off after people/cars/cats/birds. Very nice - pleased with this purchase.

Not always escape proof.
Our dog was still able to pull out of this harness. Perhaps she was able to do that because the leash was attached to the back of the harness instead of the front loop (under the chin). We don't know, but she didn't run away when she got loose. We did not see her pull out, so don't know how she did that. She was on a walk with my husband. He stopped to move a fallen tree branch. As soon as he had moved the branch, he noticed our dog standing a few feet in front of him. He still had the leash in his hand, and the leash was attached to the harness. We do feel this harness is better than others we have tried, but are disappointed that she could get out of it.

Not escape proof
Looks good and strongly made but not escape proof. The two straps are too close to one another and the clasps bang on each other while walking. The first clasp hits my dogs elbows. If the two straps were stretched out further and the second one was shorter so couldn’t get passed the belly it would be escape proof. This design just gives you an extra second to grab your dog before escaping. Otherwise nice and if your dog doesn’t escape is nice looking and easy to put on

I’m sure it’s a great harness
I have a golden doodle that was the runt of the litter and is a skinny genius Houdini contortionist. This is the 3rd or fourth harness that she has gotten out of. I think our bulldog helps her by pulling on the harness while the golden doodle wriggles her front legs up and back through the harness. Since this harness has 2 straps she wasn’t immediately able to escape the harness, but she did chew the buckle off so I can’t use the front strap anymore. It just flops around on the side now. Now that there is only one strap, she can get out of it whenever someone or something is holding/pulling on the harness. I’m sure it’s a great harness; the construction was good, the materials look great, the design is fine. I just am resigned to the fact that my dog, with the help of our other dog, can get out of any harness.
