I used one of these in combination with a toothed type strap on a mature apple tree (old stake and ties had rotted). The toothed strap snapped after a week leaving just this one in place. This one has not budged.Would definitely buy again.

Strong useful product.

These rubber tree ties were perfect for providing support to a newly-planted birch tree. Great to know they're made in England too! The rubber was stiff, but a five-minute soak in near boiling water rendered them flexible and easy to use. Great service from Elixir Garden Supplies as the ties were delivered within three days of placing the order with Amazon.

Bought these to pin back my plum tree against a wall (fan type) as the branches had started creeping towards the sun. The tree is very well established and the branches have thickened out a lot but these ties were up to the job. Just make sure you use a washer if screwing to a wall or the screw will rip right through.
