Fantastic item! Quick and easy to install, works like a charm, and fits perfectly. I'm glad I looked at the original item I was going to order and check out this one as an option because I would have ordered the wrong thing. This one snaps into the clock slot in the back. The company even put a nice video in the product description on Amazon explaining which one to get. This item keeps time accurately. I ran it for three hours to see if it would be slow or fast and it's spot on. Just follow the quick instructions and you can't go wrong. Oh, and it comes with three different hand sizes to fit your clock. Even has a gold colored one, but it would not have worked with my clock face. Thanks to Tikround, we're back in business!

Kept a non-working inexpensive clock hanging in my kitchen because I liked it. But I got tired of relying on electronics for the time. I rarely wear a watch and would have to go to the phone or computer or microwave etc to see the time. Finally started looking for a similar replacement clock and eventually stumbled on replacing the clock movement instead; something I never thought to do. All I could figure out was that I had a snap in quartz movement with a short white shaft. This one looked like it fit the bill. It was very easy to install. I just had a small problem ensuring that both the top and bottom were securely snapped in on my clock. The only downside is that I wasn't able to use my original hands, probably because the diameter of the shaft was slightly smaller than my original. But the movement came with 3 sets of hands and I've gotten used to the set I chose. They are actually quite attractive. When I say "chose", I really only had one choice because the sets of hands were different lengths depending on the size of your clock face. It included a shorter set, a medium set, and a longer set. My clock is about 10 inches but the face is only 7 or 8 inches. The shortest set of hands worked for me. I am very happy with the look and the clock is working perfectly. It inspired me to order a few more clocks of different types to place strategically around my house. Sorry. It actually came with 4 sets of hands so there are definitely some great choices of styles and sizes for different types of clocks and preferences.

Worked well for repairing my existing clock -- looks good. All necessary pieces included. Smooth sweep. I used the gold hands (1 set - basic shape) to match the old set. Just wish the other hands were also in a gold finish instead of black -- I would have used a more decorative set instead of the basic.

This came as a 2-pack. The first unit ran for about 2 days and then stopped. It would intermittently start up every now and then, but even with a brand new battery would not run reliably. So I replaced it with the second unit that came in the box, it ran for about an hour before exhibiting the same issue. I do not recommend buying this clock movement.

I ordered this replacement continuous sweep clock movement for my Batman wall clock that ticked and drove me crazy. I’m so glad I did! I have always hated the ticking of clocks. This kit came with several hands, and it was very easy to snap into the back of the clock without any real modifications. I’ll definitely order this product again if I ever have a need to upgrade a ticking clock! The clock movement does lose time gradually, but that could be due to a weak battery.
