Designed by students?? Don't they carry cells, notebooks, laptops and tablets? Not much room by their design.
One of the snaps broke off the first day, storage area is very shallow only enough room for my tablet. Cheap plastic pen boxes take up too much space but you will lose your pens if you don't use it. Would have been better if it zipped closed all the way around because if I put a small 5x7 notebook in with my tablet it bulges and I would have preferred if it were not quite so wide.

This item fell apart in the back hinge and almost immediately started spewing the little white filling pellets everywhere. What a mess..
