Difficult Riddles for Smart Kids: Riddles and Brain Teasers for the Whole Family to Share (Gifts for Smart Kids, Book 1)

We purchased this book to have fun with my younger cousins, but we've had so much fun reading through them too! The text is big and very easy to read. The riddles are clever and fun to try and figure out together. I wanted to binge read all of them, but had to remind myself to save some for our family game night so I could be surprised with everyone else.

Finally got around to reading this with the children. My 5 yr old asked me a riddle and I couldn’t stop laughing as I was impressed with it and we started reading this and both the boys wanted more. A few were a bit advanced so I gave a few clues and they got them correct. Very pleased with this purchase and the price as well.

This book is full of typos and printing errors, from missing page numbers to incorrect wording. If you really have a smart kid, give her a red pen and tell her to edit it. It was a step the publishers missed.

The book makes kids think and they get the answers to the riddles better than the adult sometimes. The answers are also in the book which is great!

She was reading this and asking us riddles in the car ride all the way to Grandma and Grandpa's after she got this book.

My daughter loves riddles and jokes. Just a little annoying to flip back and forth to the answer pages. But she loves it regardless.

I post one riddle a day on my smart board for my 5th grade students to solve. They are getting much better at thinking outside the box and expanding their vocabulary.

KEPT MY TEENAGE SON ENTERTAINED

The text size is enormous! I bought a few of these for some clever kids I know but they were rather insulted with the font size and tossed the book aside saying it was too babyish.

Expected more than Christmas Crackers silly questions....but that's about all this is. Nice for Christmas stockings and an hour of fun before Christmas lunch, but not much more than that.

Kids loves the jokes and riddles they continue to quiz each other and any one who comes over
