Won't stop a determined intruder but great for peace of mind
I started Airbnbing my spare room and didn't want to install proper locks as I have a strange architrave and not much confidence in my DIY skills. These were so easy to screw into my architrave and doors (on my room and the spare) — I used a spanner and my hands and it went in very easily to the wood.

Used indoors, happy with them
I used these indoors as my door frames wouldn't allow me to use regular locks due to them being so narrow. They were very easy to screw into the frame and are exactly what I was looking for.
