perfect for setting fans to a set speed
I'm using this in a 4u atx pc build. If you want a high wattage static rpm fan controller, this will get the job done. It has plenty of wattage to power multiple high wattage fans. That being said, this is not a smart contoller, it does not output a PWM signal, its just a potentiometer with fan headers. Nothing more, nothing less. It works great for my use case, cause I just wanted a couple of fans to run at a static rpm. If you are looking for something that can match a motherboard fan speed, or constantly change rpms this is not the product you want. This is a dumb "controller" and it does exactly what it should. I've had mine installed for over a year and it has worked flawlessly.

This works!
Used for a Dell Optiplex SFF case swap so the motherboard could be used with a large GPU. MB only had one pwm fan header for the CPU fan. Was able to add 2 case fans that turn on and off with the computer and which speed is adjustable. Plugs right into the 12v 6pin plug from the aftermarket PSU. No need for SATA power. Solved many problems at once. We'll see how long it holds up.

Excellent and inexpensive fan splitter and speed controller.
Excellent and inexpensive fan splitter and speed controller for PWM case fans. Easy to adjust the fan speed with a flat blade screwdriver. It comes with double sided tape attached to the back which works provided you are careful in how the 6 pin power cable is placed. The weight of that cable in a case can be enough pull the board loose over time. I do wish there was at least one mounting hole so I could securely attach it to a standoff.

Los ventiladores de salida de 3 pines son sirven. Solo para 4 pines. Ya lo probé no sirve para 3. Solo salida de 4 pines si

more ways to add fans to your pc
I bought this but have never used it so I can not say much about it. it was rather cheap looked easy to install but felt cheap as well, however I just got a new pc with a fan hub in it and it felt even cheaper than this one and it works fine.

Works perfect, my CPUs reduced 7 degrees
I have a server motherboard with 2x AMD EPYC 64c, Noctua double cooler for each cpu using all day long with 98% of load for data mining. My CPUs usually were 80-82 Celsius degrees, after Install this device and push to max rotation, my CPUs temperature were down to 73 which is very good. 100% recommended. saved me $400 buying 2 liquid coolers.

DEPENDS ON MOST FREE PLENTIFUL CONNECTION
This works, and works well, BUT you need to focus on the connector type, do you have this 6 pin PCIE GPU connector as a spare? then you can get this, if not get the usually way more plentiful SATA type.

Great for testing fans, or just as a fan hub
Having a manual know to adjust the fan speed on a hub is great. Upto 8 fans on the little hub. The pcie 6 pin is odd, but supplies plenty of power. Red light is bright, but let's you know it is receiving power. I use it to test fans, and compare their out put without having to go to the bios to change any settings. It works well as a stand alone connected to a PSU.
