Great taste, one bag split
Lovely flavour, easy to brew, consistent results.one bag split from the pressure of the steam inside it, spewed coffee grinds inside the cup. But was not the end of the world.

An interesting way to brew coffee.
An interesting product, pretty much like a tea bag but with coffee. It is used exactly like a tea bag, just pour hot water in a cup, let it sit there for a few minutes and you're good to goI find the coffee produced from these bags to be very mild. I usually prefer stronger coffee but there have been several instances where I just wanted a mild coffee, nothing too caffeinated or strong strong flavour and this was perfect. This resembles filter coffee but in a quick and more convenient format. I'd recommend trying coffee in this format, it is unique and tasty!

Not a 6 roast
This is a nice smooth coffee with no bitterness. Very enjoyablr. However, the strength is supposed to be 6 to 10 roast. Compared to Lava Java Coffee which is a 6, this wasn't anywhere near the same strength.

Greta for travelling, box bulky but decent coffee bags
Artisan Coffee Bags - Smart Cookie - 20 bagsThe coffee bags are sealed in rip-top sachets. Each sachet has usage information and coffee description. Easy to use open sachet put bag in a mug and pour on hot water - infuse for 3+ minutes. Its nice coffee and a 6/10 intensity is strong enough. The bags arrives in a branded cardboard box which has full product information. The box is larger than it needs to be (its 13.5cm tall, whilst bags are only 10.5cm tall).Best before is printed on the bottom of the box and also on back of each sachet - mine were 8 months away.Overall - great for travelling, as you can put a bunch of sachets in your bag and just source some hot water. These are well packaged and taste good.

Simply Delicious
We couldn't possibly comment on any of the other Coffee bags available from the "Artisan Coffee Co.", but if this "Smart Cookie" option is anything to go by, it would be worth investing in the entire range at least once, just to be pleasantly surprised. Nothing beats freshly ground coffee, but every now and then, especially when pressed for time, we do use pre-ground coffee, but it's usually JUST coffee.Having said that, there's nothing ordinary about this coffee, and even though it's pre-ground, in single portion sized bags, there really is a unique flavour here. What an absolutely delightful coffee, with hints of honey, butter biscuit, and cocoa thrown in for good measure, we simply can't fault this, it really is simply delicious.

Lovely coffee in a bag.
I like things and gadgets that make my life easier in any way possible. I am already familiar with coffee in a bag and I know how easy it is to use and how practical it can be on the go when on holiday or camping.I got myself this Smart Cookie coffee and I love the taste of it. Not only can I taste the flavours of cocoa, honey and biscuits, but this coffee also smells lovely and fills up the whole kitchen with its gorgeous aroma. It is a strongly caffeinated coffee, however. I made the mistake of having my 3rd cup at 5 pm and I was not able to go to sleep until 2 am that night. If I want a stronger coffee it is safer just to keep the bag in for a little longer.

Good depth of flavour...
I like coffee - and I love coffee bags as they're so easy to use with absolutely no special equipment required. This attractively boxed pack of 20 from Bristol-based Artisan Coffee Co. features bags individually foil wrapped for freshness and on opening the aroma of The Enigma, the blend I opted for, is superbly rich.I always find it tricky to identify notes in coffees. With this medium roast version I can definitely pick up the 'deep cocoa' but the 'dark jammy fruit'? Not sure. I did detect a slight fruitiness - much like that you might find in a decent quality kind of high cocoa content dark chocolate. These coffee bags produce a brew that does taste premium in my view. It has a good depth of flavour and there's a wide range of blends within this range. I'm interested enough to want to try more.
