Rosehip Seed Oil Unrefined by H&B OILS CENTER Raw Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Premium Quality Natural Pure 8 oz

It's hit or miss whether you will end up with a rosehip seed oil that smells like fish or not. I can tell you that this one doesn't smell at all. It is perfect!! This is a must for any beauty routine. I have it in a glass dropper bottle that I refill (purchased at Sprouts). I put one dropper full of this in my hand along with a dropper full of marula oil and some hyaluronic acid cream, mix it around in my hand and apply to my face, next and backs of my hands. I have not had any breakouts as long as I have been using this routine and I used to break out a few times a month. I apply this morning and night.

Rosehip oil is supposed to be a deep golden/orange-red oil with a nice consistency (not too thick, not too runny) with a subtle earthy scent. This H&B oil is more of a light yellow leaning more towards green than towards red. It seems very diluted and has a runny, watery consistency. Some sites say Rosehip that is pale yellow is most likely refined or old...not sure but this could be refined? Can't say for sure. Do not expect the color in the photo description, it is nowhere near it. The scent is not overly pungent or horrible or anything and it was not rancid, but still not the subtle earthy smell. It arrived in a nice plastic amber bottle and was not leaking, but I still prefer glass. I bought other types of high quality Rosehip oils before and this bore no resemblance, so I wouldn't recommend it. I returned mine.

I was skeptical to order because of how many purchases this had compared to some other brands available but I made a body butter blend with this and it seems to be good. I also do not have anything to compare it to as far as quality but it didn’t have an odor and it does make my skin feel moisturized.

Product arrived opened and totally rancid. The oil leaked through the seal into the bag and smelled like old fish!

This is the best oil for dry skin. Rejuvenates and gives a beautiful glow without feeling greasy. Love it. I order it all the time.
