This little guy was a bit smaller than my other outdoor gnomes (around 10 inches) which isn’t bad but I was afraid that a windy day would knock him over and break the bulb so I placed him indoors in a bay window. He fits right in with my flower pots and gets enough ambient light from the window to keep him glowing for several hours after dark. He lights up even with the indoor lights on because his sensor faces the window where it’s dark. Definitely adds a whimsical touch to my kitchen.

Stopped working after one day! *revised*
It’s adorable but worthless. It stopped working after one day and no matter what I try it won’t light. Definitely do not recommend!Revised….I was contacted by customer service and they were actually really great. They replaced my item almost immediately. I’m hoping this new one works because it truly is adorable.

The reading gnome is a bit smaller than I expected but so cute and well made. I only gave 4 stars since it is a Christmas gift and so I don’t know how well the solar light works.
