My first time tasting these; I love Stauffer's items, but not these unfortunately
I'd never tried Stauffer's cheddar whales before. However, I really like all of Stauffer's other products: animal crackers, animal cookies, and holiday cookies (halloween and Christmas shortbread and also the gingerbread). I purchased these and they are harder than Goldfish, almost feeling a bit stale. They were not expired, so I suspect it's just the texture of these crackers. The cheese flavor tasted a bit "off" to me and wasn't too appealing. I don't mean to sound critical; I'm sure these are great for other folks. They just didn't appeal to me. They were packaged well, however. I will still buy other Stauffer's items also.
