EDIT: 19 March, 2024. The light is still going strong and working as intended. I love the "Gesture" mode. I simply swipe my hand a few inches in front of the sensor located on the front, left side of the unit to turn it on or off. On occasion I will adjust the brightness but have hardly ever changed the color temp of the unit. I'm very pleased with my purchase.I snagged this light on a "Lightning Deal" and so glad I did. I just received the light today so, time will tell for its longevity of operation.The light is packaged extremely well and the directions are straight forward pertaining to its operation. There is an ON/OFF switch that doubles as the NIGHT LIGHT function. You can activate the night light by holding the ON/OFF switch for about three seconds with the unit off. It appears this activates the lowest intensity setting. The INTENSITY, COLOR and TIMER buttons are also on the front of the light head unit. There is also a GESTURE mode that once set will turn on and off the lamp with the wave of your hand. I like that all the control buttons are on the head of the lamp unit instead of on its power cord. The light returns to the last setting used (intensity and color) when you turn it on.The mounting bracket is a bit thinner material so, don't over-tighten the lamp when securing it to your desk or where ever you are mounting it. I noticed it start to bend slightly as I was tightening the clamp. It is holding fine so far for me.The power cord plugs in to the base of the lamp pole upright. Nice feature as it keeps cables to a minimum.The flexible goose neck part of the lamp is surprisingly stiff and should support the lamp head well. The goose neck portion has a cover from the base to the lamp head. If you're a bit OCD, you might be spending a little time making the goose neck look straight. (Maybe it's just me, IDK).The lamp has nice lighting intensity variations from dim to bright. The color temperature change is also noticeable.This lamp unit is minimally intrusive and provides soft to bright task lighting. Here's to hoping it lasts for a long time!

After several cheap plastic over monitor clip lights I decided to splurge a bit, and now I wish I did that from the start. This light is bright, the adjustable modes are distinct and work well, you can get lots of different kinds of light out of the LEDs, which have held up to a bit of abuse. The clamp handle could be a bit thicker, but the clamp is large and holds very well onto a thick table (>3”), as well as my older table (~1.25” thick). The cable is reasonably long, though the adapter is a bit fat.The controls are all on top of the lamp, and are touch-sensitive, as opposed to cheap buttons. The wire plugs into the wall only, not a USB, which is a nice change. It acts and feels like a real lamp.The gooseneck is long, sturdy, and coated in a thick layer of rubber with a matte finish that give it a pleasant appearance and feel. You won’t mind adjusting the lamp’s position.An added bonus is that it swivels on the base, so you don’t have to strain the gooseneck every time you want to rotate it.Great value, worth the price!

I use this on my fly tying desk. it provides plenty of light. The flexible arm is good for getting the lighting the right area.

I got this for my desk to add some more direct light and I love it. The brightness and temperature of the light can be adjusted which is really great. It has 360 degree motion and the neck can be adjusted up or down. I really the love the "motion detector" feature. I can wave my hand in front of the light and it goes on and off. There is an ON/OFF switch that doubles as the NIGHT LIGHT function and all the settings are on the head of the lamp. The light returns to the last setting used (intensity and color) when you turn it on. The light clamps to the desk and can easily be moved around. All in all a great buy!

Just set it up & it’s perfect for my needs! Lightweight & slim design stays out of by way. Light level is more than adequate, I’m probably at 50%. Ability to set color is amazing! I set it to slightly warm & it’s easy on my eyes. Having the controls on the lamp is ideal for me, I didn’t want a corded control with wires cluttering my desk. I have it set to come on with a wave of my hand so I don’t even need to touch it! I couldn’t be happier!

Finally a really good light that provides several different settings for both brightness and tone. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that the controls on top are very hard to see without a flashlight.

Remote didn't work with the first one. Got a replacement, works perfectly

I'm using it right now, as I write this review.I love that the light is tall enough to go up and over my 32 inch monitors! My previous light had to be placed next to the monitors on my computer desk, often getting in my way.This light has a remote control that has some really great features!1. You can dim the light and maximize it.2. The remote has a "sleep" button, that allows you to set the light to a minimal, soft light level.3. There is a "reading" button that sets the light at its brightest setting4. You can change the color "temperature" of the light.5. The unit features a clamp that you use to attach lamp to your desk. This unit does not have a traditional stand, which I loved.I fell in love with this as soon as I unpacked it!

I’m loving the versatility of this light, so many light levels and positions

I have been looking for a desk lamp for a long time that allowed flexibility of positioning as well as functionality. This lamp has it all (and a little more!) Was a little concerned that it may be too high (it was) but the gooseneck made it possible to manoeuvre to the perfect position above my monitor and webcam.The features I especially like:GooseneckGesture on / offRange of temp / brightness (nightlight, reading etc.)Desk remoteTimer functionAlso, very well priced (compared to similar makes).Very highly recommended and worth the wait
