Paasche Airbrush VL-1-OZ-AM Airbrush Bottle, 1 Ounce, Clear

I would recommend getting this as soon as possible if you bought the EZ Starter airbrush kit. The reason is that the cap assembly (the little thingy on the top of the cap that plugs into the airbrush "gun") that comes with the kit will eventually break. Again, if you look at the picture above, itʻs that little tube thing thats attached to the bottle cap. The one that comes with the EZ kit is made of plastic. I used my sprayer about 3 times, and on the last time I used it, I was plugging the bottle into the gun, and the little tip broke off!Anyway...long story short: This one is made of metal, and so is the cap itself. I forsee it lasting much longer than the one that came with the gun, so I bought two of them. I gave it 5 stars because itʻs a simple product that exceeds what I originally had.

My bottle, which I received didn't have the Paasche name raised on it as in the picture. (But, then again, paasche probably hasn't made their own bottles in like 20 years). I bought it not for the airbrush per se, but to keep my brushes in, and I use the metal siphon feed part on another bottle. These aren't very ergonomic for AB use anyway as the bottle will touch your work.

If you purchase the Paasche Fan Aircap For TG And TS Airbrushes (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002N0QA86/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_img_sol_1) then I highly recommend that you also go for this accessory also. This allows you to paint larger or longer than you could with the one-ounce bottles, and it is perfect for laying down a base coat before you do your more detailed work. With the addition of the Fan Aircap tip, you can work three times longer or tackle larger surfaces in one go. Yes, it is a bit heavy, but this is not for fine details, this allows your airbrush to step one foot into the world of spray-guns. For modders and modellers, you need this.

After only 20 years my siphons wore out. So I bought 2 new ones.The wear is at the very top, where it slides into the airbrush.When one of the old ones fell off the airbrush and painted my good pants, it was time to get new ones.Ruined a good pair of Wranglers. Which cost MUCH more than the siphons.

The 3 oz bottle simply allows the user more volume of material (paint) at their disposal without the inconvenience of changing the bottle.

Very nice and sold, I need to answer my own question that I asked about it on if it would fit an iwata eclipse and it does perfectly. All metal is actually metal and not just painted to look like it is like some other products.

Not much to say really, I bought these as a replacement for the bottles that came with my VL airbrush (the old ones were getting grubby - poor cleaning of the tubes on my part). As others say, they're a good size - I've painted entire O gauge locomotives with a jar that isn't full and still had paint left at the end.

I had to cut one of the tubes inside a bit shorter but other them that they are great.

Though the product I received was in perfect condition and exactly what I ordered I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't the right one for my air brush. It was stated to fit my model of air brush and technically it does, BUT the angle of the spout on the top of the bottle is not right making this hard to paint with at lower angles. This spout seems to be pointing at about a 23 deg angle and the proper bottle for my air brush is closer to 45 deg. So just check before buying that you have the right one for your application.

Love these little guys, I wish the local art stores would stock them. The conical shape allows them to rest on upright on a work table with the airbrush still inserted. They are easy to clean and hold while airbrushing.
