Arlington LVS1 Screw On Single Gang Low Voltage Mounting Bracket (10/pack)

At first I thought: naaah, those amateurs complaining about the screws are overdriving it. My mistake. These screws are total and absolute garbage. They're a liability, you can get hurt when they break. And therefore after the 3rd box I had to unscrew these and get my own screws in. Really disappointed in these. Otherwise it is a mud ring. What else there is to it?

Unfortunately the screws that ship with these low voltage boxes are weak and brittle and typically break off when screwing into 2x4s before they are fully sunk.

Whole the item itself is decent for the job, the cheap screws included break with any minor look of pressure. If you get these prepare to use your own screws or nails. Else your may have a lot of broken screw heads.

Simple, what I was looking for

The screw heads on every box I have installed have broken off as I screw it in, leaving the box halfway attached and unable to be removed or able to be fully installed. Useless. Buy extra, if you buy any. Better would be to buy a different product.

These worked well and easy to install. I like the low voltage wire loop

I ordered these to install in my home that is in the construction process. I attempted to install these but on 3/10 units the screw heads broke off.
