Slightly cheaper than my local tesco and it saves carrying it. I have a large one year old kitty and it’s his favourite flavour. There are five boxes

Decent crunchy shapes
Our adopted cat really hated the small kibble she had always had in her previous life - bad associations maybe. So we’ve now tried every single dry food on the market, as she won’t eat wet food, only canned tuna which is way too salty for her, even in water. Big, crunchy nuggets hit the mark as she likes to really get her teeth into something, so when we tried these, it was an instant hit. Fish shapes and triangular bits keep her teeth clean while she’s eating and she certainly seems to enjoy the different fishy flavours. Which, fortunately, aren’t too smelly as I loathe the smell of fish! She now romps through her bowl. It is a complete food, not very high in protein which may be relevant to you or your pet, but that’s fine by us as our late, beloved cat had kidney failure and the vet recommended a low protein diet as the way to avoid that. Like most pet food, it is a bit like sweepings off the floor, although Purina is a well known brand, and I think we’ll still supplement her diet every now and then with fresh food, And of course she has a water fountain and separate bowls of water at strategic points throughout the house so she keeps her intake up and doesn’t get dehydrated.Five boxes for less than £13 is a pretty good buy, although I have noticed our local (huge) supermarket sells the 10 kilo bags of this at around £1.70 a kilo, so buying in bulk, if this remains the favoured food, is the way to go as it lasts months and months.

3 happy cats, no issues
You get 5 boxes of purina gocat 750g complete cat food in herring and tuna with vegetable flavour. It has nice bite size pieces perfect for cats to bite and consume. Suitable for cats 1 year and over. Recyclable cardboard box, rather than a plastic bag. The packaging is clear and easy to read with a feeding guideline on. More than just your standard basic cat food, it has the added benefits to maintain urinary health, healthy teeth, bones, skin and coat. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. They came with a good best before on each box dated 11 2023. With 3 cats at home, they all really enjoyed it with a clear bowl every time. Easy to transition over, no digestion or tummy issues either. 3 happy kitty's.

A definite hit
On our vet’s advice, we do not solely feed dry food as, even though this is a ‘complete’ diet, we want to avoid the potential for urinary tract disorders later in life. We are giving a handful of this dry food as well as a bowl of ‘wet’ food.My cats are all very fickle when it comes to cat food; one week's favourite is quickly yesterday's fad and 'got over'. I know it is probably all down to us for feeding them things we shouldn't, as well as pandering to their haughtiness when they decree their favourite of the day before suddenly is poison to their delicate palates, but I do find it difficult to get them to eat in the home and not feel the need to go out to 'get it themselves'...Note that the ingredients are not the highest quality as meat and animal derivatives and fish and fish derivatives are on the list and indicate, unfortunately, anything can have been added to the mix. Avoid feeding these therefore to any cat that has, or is suspected of having, a food allergy as a headline ingredient does not necessarily mean that a different protein isn't also included and that could cause problems for your cat. In this case, although the listing states 2% tuna and 2% herring (and confusingly also 1.5% of each), this means you could also have some lamb or beef, for example. if your feline is allergy free, my fussy cat says that these are great, not that she wants to make that well known for fear that her supply may run out due to increased demand

From youngster to senior
We don't know her exact age, because she lived in two previous homes before we adopted her. However, our fairly fussy cat was very impressed when we first tried her on this food. So far, she has been showing signs of enjoying the new food so can only recommend it :)

my cat loves these crunchy biscuits
My cat is fussy and loves these crunchy biscuits. Everytime she hears the box rattle she is straight by her bowl waiting for them, her bowls were empty in minutes. My cat loves it
