Great products
I bought the Solo Bonfire 2.0 stove, hub, grill and griddle. They are all great and work well. The grill and griddle are heavy - about 17 pounds each - so would not want to backpack with them, but it is great for camping near the vehicle. The stove itself works fine for hotdogs and marshmallows on a stick.

Should last forever.
I like that it integrates with the solo stove. One system for fire place , cooking and barbecuing. Heavy duty, I use wood pellets for a quick fire and steady heat source.

VERY COURSE surface; 3 tabs are SUPER SAFE for kids and pets especially.
The cast iron is VERY COURSE-like 30 grit sandpaper, taking off a star. The 3 tabs lock it inside the HUB, making it VASTLY more secure than anything anyone of us would ever rig up. It would only be dislodged by a direct tackle or by a vehicle hitting a handle or edge. The included directions say to use flaxseed oil, but coconut oil in a standard sized oven per Lodge directions for the Ranger sized cook tops is fabulous!

Ranger Solostove griddle accessory.
The Ranger Solostove griddle (and also the grill) accessory works well, though a bit heavy. Rust is not a problem in New Mexico in any event, but no reason it won’t season up like an iron skillet. It’s easy to use as the griddle and support (alley the hub) is made for my model of stove. The size is large, even for the Ranger Solostove. This could be an advantage or disadvantage depending on how much you have to cook and how much storage or packing space you have. The handles may be larger than necessary adding to the physical size and weight. Conversely they don’t get as hot. All in all the Solostove and accessories are good products for car camping, picnicking, barbecuing, and outdoor cooking (obviously not the backpack model).

Solid pan
We cook dinner on this 5 days a week. Takes some getting used to the high temps but some of of our best stir fry meals have been cooked on this pan.
