Perfect for canning my tea
This pitcher makes lots of tea, and perfect for bottling . . I bought heat resistant glass bottles, and lids for canning tea. The pitcher has no problem handling hot water. The only thing I would change on this pitcher would be a better spout. Once you get down to the last four cups it leaks when pouring into bottles .

Glass has a defect and VERY CHEAP THIN GLASS
I am very very disappointed, the glass container arrived late and is not at all what I expected. The glass has bubbles that are peeling on the inside (I put my hand in the picture to try to show the bubbles) also the glass is the cheapest glass I have ever seen. It’s so thin and horrible quality, it feels like if I barely tap the glass it will shatter. I am so upset because I was really looking forward to receiving this product and using it for water in my fridge! I do not at all recommend this product.

Great for making a nice batch of iced tea....
It's a great glass pitcher for exactly what we wanted it for. That is to have a nice large sized one for our drinks ready to pour that fit great in our refrigerator.Unfortunately, as great as it is for being a nice looking pitcher, glass to see how much is in side, and even the measuring lines on it to get the perfect mix of what you need... it's not very thick or durable. I wouldn't recommend using it around kids or placing it in an unstable environment, or anything as the glass seems to be thin for what it is and will easily break if not handled with great care. Don't go into stirring with a metal spoon, I'd recommend wooden like we do or plastic. Also the lid seems to be a little loose of a fit for the pitcher. I have already instilled within myself to be sure to take it off, or hold it in place when pouring. Don't get me wrong though, I love the fact it has a built in strainer to it, just wish it had a little more secure of a fit. However, it's not a deal breaker by any means.Good buy, just treat it with care and you'll be most happy with it as we most definitely are. It fit exactly what we were looking for - glass - not plastic, to see how much there is in there at all times so we can be ready to make a new one without going to pour a drink from an nearly empty container, the measuring guides on it, a good fit for the bottom of our refrigerator, and a good price for what we specifically were looking for. 4 out of 5, only due to the thin glass. Cheers!

Perfect size
I love this pitcher! It has been a chore finding a pitcher the size for what I needed it for. This is perfect for when we make sangria.

Great value!
I love this pitcher, but didn't consider how heavy it would be when filled! I have trouble with my hands though!!

Nice Large pitcher
The largest glass pitcher I could find. But like all these pitchers they are FRAGILE! I’ve owned several different ones and they all eventually cracked due to a bump on the countertop or sink etc. one thing to know about glass, do not pour a hot liquid into a cold glass object. You should warm the glass with tap water on the exterior. This will prevent the shock of boiling water. Why can’t someone make Pyrex like glass pitcher? A nice THICK glass pitcher.
