I bartend and I just so happen to be at the perfect height that aprons usual snag a bottle or two in my well. This little book holster not only holds a bunch of pens and a server book perfectly, but I can sling drinks with out worrying about breaking a bottle.The only thing I would change is maybe some heavy duty snaps so that it is easier to remove instead of having to unbuckle your belt.

I waitress in a nice restaurant, and this is perfect for holding money and a POS hand held. Love it! Would buy again.

Can't speak on durability yet because I've only had it a week. If it starts to show premature wear I'll update this review, so far so good though. I wish it had a dedicated pocket for straws. I always end up breaking a bunch of straws from putting them in the big compartment with my check pad, either that or I have to move all the straws to put my check pad back. Also, if I put straws in the zippered portion it can tear the wrapping on them. Not related to serving, but it can also fit everything I normally carry in my pockets if I remove the check pad, think I'll take it along for my next hike.
