Almost made the mistake of buying this magnificent Malt elsewhere. The Amazon price was sensational when compared to the other shops. Jura malt is made on an island off Islay, which has its fair share of distilleries. It's a small distillery in the only "town" on the island. The town has a hotel, a shop and the distillery. Jura malts all tennd to be easy drinking, no savage peat tones here. The colour of this Caribbean Rum Cask Edition Single Malt is rich and quite deep from the rum casks. I found it smooth with a rich aroma and it comes in a standard strength of 40% Well boxed in an outer sleeve to protect the classy inner presentation box. A fine island malt at a sensational price ~ get your while it lasts.

I have tried the Bourbon cask so decided to give this one a go. The packaging and bottles are of a very good standard and as usual the delivery process was great. This single malt has a pleasant light citrus fruit nose. The taste backs this up with light fruitiness with hints of oily coconut, vanilla fudge and sweet fruit and is creamy and smooth on the palate. A very fresh and slightly mild whisky at 40% ABV easy to drink and a value for money cask edition. I enjoy trying different single malts and this one for me comes in the middle of my rankings and I have a 10 year old and a 14 year old Jura on my shelf to try. This is smooth and sweet and gets good reviews.

Bought this on an amazing offer here on Amazon and it’s well worth the money. I drink a fair bit of scotch and pound for pound this hold its own. It’s got a lovely smell and, although not the most complex, the taste is nice and smooth. It’s a fantastic whiskey to have a drop of in the evening and when on offer, can’t be beat.

Treated myself after a hard week of working from home. Had one particular pointless Teams meeting so decided to pour myself a glass of what I call “tolerance”. Well this whisky was just the thing I needed to forget about Martin from accounts. Smooth, fruity, easy to drink. Neat with a whisky stone to cool it down. Great price and invisibly good quality (ticked all the review suggestions there ;)). But he’s, I shall be getting more of this beautiful nectar.

Not tried this before but the rum cask gives a definite pleasant taste. Great gift but wouldn't buy again for myself.

Well Well Well Juru what can I say but whoop Whoop so smooth,warm & full of flavour..This might sound bad but I have purchased this item of thirty time.. Have I got shares....No I'm I related to Juru...Not that I know of. Do I drink responsible..O yes !!! 😉 Love a good whisky & I finally found one that tastes Mmmmm Delicious & doesn't hurt the Pocket

Schmeckt sehr gut und für dem Preis super, ist natürlich Geschmackssache:-)

Un agréable goût en bouche de fruits exotiques, mais personnellement, je préfère le seven woods, beaucoup plus "authentique". Reste très agréable à boire en apéritif car relativement doux.

Ein Whisky von Jura der in Rumfässern gelagert wurde? Kann das funktionieren? Ich war sehr skeptisch, zumal ich die Whiskys von Islay bevorzuge....Habe dann den Jura Rum Cask Finish zum Geburtstag bekommen. Und ja, es funktioniert. Die Nase: frisch, exotische Früchte und die Anmutung von Kokos. Erster Schluck: auch hier wieder Früchte, Süße, man kann den Rum erahnen, leichter Alkohol, der den Mund sanft ausfüllt. Abgang: mittellang auch hier wieder exotische Früchte, mit etwas Karibik. Alles in Allem ein Whisky, den man mal so eben wegtrinken kann. Ohne Ecken und Kanten, aber auch nichts mit großer Komplexität. Wer mal einen anderen Whisky trinken will, soll ihn ruhig mal testen. Wenn man vorher ein Stück Schokolade isst, wird merken, dass er noch besser kommt.

Der Jura Rum Cask Finish gehört ganz klar zu meinen Lieblingswhiskys. Er hat einen angenehm milden, leicht süßlichen Geschmack mit einem Hauch tropischer Frucht und einem warmen, weichen Abgang. Die Reifung im Rumfass verleiht ihm eine besondere Note, die ihn von anderen abhebt. Und das Ganze zu einem Preis, der wirklich unschlagbar ist. Absolute Empfehlung!
