What's not to like? Top quality ingredients, great taste for both flavors, blends up great with Silk Almond Milk (no carageenan!), toss in a little Nutiva coconut oil, maybe an apple or banana...yum. I started with PlantFusion, it's protein powder-only product. Loved that, but Phood is total nutrition: I don't feel I have to take other supplements which is really a welcome thing, it's easy to get obsessed with making sure you're taking all you need and keeping track of all those pills gets kind of nuts. I'm also more regular with Phood, probably the probiotics. That's a nice surprise too. I've been using it instead of breakfast most mornings for weeks now...I don't feel hungry again until 1-2 pm or so. Yet I never feel bogged down or sluggish after drinking it. And I use more almond milk than they recommend, probably a quart per meal instead of a 12 oz glass, I think I need more volume to feel full, I don't know if one glass would do it for me. But even "diluted" like that, there's plenty of flavor. I also mix in a lot of ice so it's just shy of a slurpee in consistency. That's how I like it. I don't agree with one poster who said it doesn't taste like vanilla. Sure does to me. I mix both flavors sometimes too, one scoop of each. Phood is just the greatest drink powder of its type I've ever had. I've been using it for 2 months now and absolutely love it. I used PlantFusion for almost a year before that, but Phood is just more complete nutrition all the way around and I haven't found a single side effect with it. BTW, I'm 68, male, maybe a little overweight, in decent shape, and having a Phood smoothie maybe an hour before I go to the gym lets me work out without feeling stuffed or sluggish like almost any solid meal will. So it's great for that too. I'm sold on it...and I have no connection with the company in any way other than as a customer.

Edit as of Aug. 20, 2019 - I still feel this is one of the better products for meal replacement. However I paid 40.00 for my last container of it, and in a month or so, it went up to nearly 60.00, then jumped down to no less than 51, and is now up again to 55. This constant inconsistency, and the significant increase in price is daunting at best, and is proving to be really inconvenient. I don't know the algorithm that dictates these price jumps, but I find it suspicious that this product will remain at an 'OK' price for a while, then spike 10.00 or more after buying a container of it. Not sure if its a case of it being a Prime product and members (like me) get inflated costs as a result, or what. Anyway that's my biggest issue with this product. OLD REVIEW - I did a ton of research on possible meal replacement powders that were vegan friendly before coming across this one. It was recommended on one of the various sites I looked at, and when I got my first container of it I was pretty excited to try it out. It's actually extremely good; not too heavy on flavor, not grainy, and very easy to mix with other things to make smoothies, or fruitier drinks. I mix mine usually with a bit of Newman's Own grape juice. Using two scoops for the size they recommend is a bit too sweet for me so I stick to one scoop per mix even if its not combined with anything else. It's definitely worth trying and beats the other meal replacers I've tried. Also as a side note - I had a container stolen off my porch (gotta love this time of year) and Amazon replaced it very promptly. They even had it delivered on a Sunday which surprised me. So I'm extremely happy with the product, and Amazon being so helpful.

I use Plant Fusion Phood Shake, Vanilla, 31.8 Ounces as a meal replacement about once a day. This powder blends well with water, or I use almond or coconut milk. I use this 28 Oz. Blender Bottle W/wire Shaker Ball- Pack of 2, Colors may vary to blend my shake. The taste of the shake is good. Perhaps a little chalky. But it is good enough considering the convenience factor and nutrition factor. I can have a nutritious non gmo balanced dinner ready in a matter of a couple minutes. Keeping in mind that there are other powders out there with more nutrition. But I really lose out in the taste and/or blendability department. And it is more nutritious then what I come up with for just my single meal. I start with about 5 cubes of ice in the bottle. Then fill it with cold filtered water, the amount is in the directions. I add the two scoops of powder and any flavorings I want to at that point. Then shake. I like buying the vanilla, because it gives me the most variety of flavors. I add chinese five spice when I want a chai flavor. I add cinnamon and nutmeg to get a cinnamon bun effect. I add about a tablespoon or so of this product 2 lbs Certified Organic Raw Cacao Powder From Latin America. 100% Raw, Organic, Pure, Kosher, Non-gmo, Vegan, Gluten-free , for a chocolate shake, plus a little cinnamon when I want a Abuelita taste. I also like to add certified organic raw peanut butter or peanut butter and the cacao powder. The last combination reminds me of peanut butter cups. I make homemade strawberry, blueberry, raspberry sauces - I use stevia, that gives me a nice variety of berry flavors. I use an orange juice and water for an orange julius effect. Like I said the vanilla flavor gives me the most variety. One detraction that I experienced in the 1st few months of using this powder was being gassy. Over time though it has faded. I started using Phood in May 2013. And the gassy problem faded by July, but I still have some issues with it. But along with that feeling I have experienced more energy. I am now more regular - if you get my drift. Because I wasn't eating well. Just no time. In summary Plant Fusion Phood Vanilla is a nice tasting base shake by itself. And you can add so many flavors, to get a variety of great tastes. Plus if I really want to up my nutrition I can add more whole food vitamins if I want. If you need nice taste, nutrition and convenience in one package at a fairly ok price. Then I recommend this one.

I've been using this product for the six to eight months or so as a meal replacement shake. I have it every morning during the week for my breakfast. I mix it with Almond milk, a banana, and some frozen fruit with some ice cubes in my Ninja blender. It really does fill me up and keep me from getting hungry for four or five hours. I'm not sure I would enjoy the flavor or texture if I did not use the blender, as it can be a bit chalky. I have been purchasing the Vanilla because the price has been significantly lower, $24.99 as opposed to $38 or $40. This time around though, the price is significantly higher at $41.95. I find that a little disappointing. I was using another product called Rockin Wellness. I really did like that shake, but it was not a real meal replacement. It did have some superfoods, but it did not have really any protein, so I was adding pea protein powder. What I didn't like about that product was that it contained soy. GMO or Non-GMO, it's still soy, and I was trying to avoid that as much as I could. I also just refuse to pay the $60 price tag for about three week's worth of shakes. I purchased the Phood shake again despite the price increase, and I also purchased some raw cacao powder to add to it. If you are looking for a nutritious meal replacement, Plant Fusion is a good place to start.
