There are clinical studies on the ingredients. Let me put it this way... You're paying $60 for echinacea and yellow dock. If you really need an epo boost, get your Dr to give you a shot. Or get more iron in your diet by eating spinach and other dark green foods. The only way this stuff makes you faster is because you're $60 lighter.

I don't see any type of shellfish name on the ingredients list. It has echincea extract, yellow dock, dandelion, choline bitartate, inositol, paba, lutein, lycopene, boron, nickel, vitamins c, b3, b6, b12, c, iron and folic acid.
