Greenbush Fo-Ti (He Shou Wu) Root Liquid Extract | Vegetarian, Non-GMO, Gluten Free | Alcohol Free (4 Ounces)

My Chinese Doctor (highest rated Chinese Doctor in Los Angeles) recommended Fo-Ti to me a couple of years ago, told me it is incredibly powerful for hair growth. She gave me specific instructions on how to take it, which deviates from the instructions on this product. See last part of my review for instructions.I have used this product for about a year and a half now. I had probably used it for about 4 months when I noticed the back of my head looking a LOT denser.Then procrastination set in and I stopped using it for a couple months. Back of head thinned out. Now I've been back on it for about 3 months, and this past weekend I once again used a mirror to look at the back of my head, and was pleasantly surprised to find that my hair has returned to the density it was after my first round.I can't say it has helped in my hairline...but then again maybe if I keep taking it, it will work there too. What I can say with confidence is that it does work for the back of the head to grow back hair.You have to be patient though; give it 4 months before you judge the results.OK now onward to the specific instructions my Chinese Doctor told me:On the bottle it says to take 1/2 dropper full 3 times per day. If you want results like I got, follow the directions I followed from the doc:For REGROWTH: Take TWO dropper fulls (2 ml total) in the morning and two at nightFor MAINTENANCE: Take ONE dropper full (1ml total) morning and night.It does get a little pricy when you use that much...so it comes down to how badly you want your hair back. I've been studying a lot about different Chinese medicines or alternative treatments since I'm not finding what I need other ways, and this one interested me mainly for anti-aging. I read it can assist with reversing graying of hair. I've actually been going through a pretty intense spiritual process where I grayed white rapidly and over half of my hair at a young age because of the trauma I went through and the level of healing my soul was going through. For a couple years I looked ancient, but now that I'm coming out the other side with all the work I have done on myself I'm noticing a lot of reversals in my life including my hair starting to grow blonde. I'm actually a natural brunette, and I have been bleaching my hair for decades, and I have been trying to manifest being naturally blonde so I don't have to diet anymore. Well, it seems to be happening as well as other reversals with my age that I can tell. I thought I could assist this process by taking this product and believing it will work for me so I can create it. I've only been taking it about a month, and I'm only seeing improvement, but like I said, I already noticed this change before I started taking it. I only take it one or two times a day, and I notice it makes my bowels more regular.. I did read that could happen, so if you have loose stools, you could be taking too much and need to scale back a bit. It's a pretty concentrated tincture and strong but not in a negative way. I think it's too soon to be able to notice a big difference, but I'll keep taking it and I am in it for the long game right now for anti-aging. No complaints.

Fo-Ti Tieng is an herb I have worked with at various times over my life, and it is a pre-eminent tonic herb in TCM. It has many powerful benefits, besides supposedly keeping one's hair from turning gray. I never tried it for that, but now that I have grays, I will be able to see if it does, indeed help. Even if it doesn't, I expect other benefits: "Fo-ti is commonly used by mouth to help treat or prevent conditions related to aging, including cancer, heart disease, and memory problems. Fo-ti is also applied directly to the skin for sores, carbuncles, skin eruptions, and itching." This is not an extremely concentrated tincture, but at 3:1 it has a definite and robust flavor, indicating a good amount of the organic/wildcrafted herb. The glycerine form lends sweetness. I enjoy it straight but mixed with juice, tea, or hot water works. Good value, too!

This is a very potent Fo-Ti. I take one drop in my tea a day. I notice a slight lift in energy, but nothing major. Also haven't noticed anything in the way of hair growth. I've been taking this daily for a month as of this review.

Ths Greenbush Fo-Ti extract is first quality. Taste is not bad at all and the concentration is very good. Just like other Greenbush extracts, very happy with this.

Good quality and pure! Comes with dropper for easy consumption.. so far so good!
