There is nothing wrong with the product, as far I can tell. I think this works just as described and I was satisfied with the product. However, after using it got me question whether this is truly a better option compared to connecting the shop vac directly to the saw. In my opinion.... meh.... I can't really say there was a definite benefit to this method. In addition to that, the dust collection "umbrella" or the bag was way larger than expected. It took up quite a space, and... so large that it obstructed my view of my work surroundings, which I did not find comfortable. I am someone who needs to have a clear view of my work surroundings at all time... But when I used this.... that was not possible. What I also did not appreciate was the fact that the hose clams I bought together did not fit. Later, I also bought and tried the reducer separately but it did not fit at all to my shop vac. Maybe it's just me, but the ad sounded like the reducer would work with most shop vac hoses commonly available... It was not the case... I mean.... at least the seller could have specified maybe what types of hosing or shop vacs the reducer and the clamps would work best with, i think... In any case, like I said in the beginning, the solution (umbrella/bag) works well.... but it was really large and obstructs the view of the work areas. The reducer and clamp accessories did not fit my existing shop vac and hose.
