Excellent to get rid of tension, headaches

The machine seems to be really helping and working but the pads that stick to your head are rubbish. They don’t last long at all…

Update 20.11.24. If you’re thinking of buying this be aware it’s been discontinued and I’ve been unable to purchase replacement pads! I bought this whilst on offer and was sceptical, but having suffered migraines and headaches for years was willing to give it a go. It’s pretty simple to use, it has 3 settings, is rechargeable and comes with two gel electrode pads. So far I’ve tried the preventative setting and the migraine setting, not having used a tens machine before I wasn’t sure what to expect. To begin with I felt just a slight tingling and my hair felt a little like it does when you have static electricity. The sensations gradually get stronger with with a pins and needle like feeling and then your forehead goes a little numb and feels like a firm massage. The sensations are pretty strong. So far it feels like it helps, my head feels less tense and maybe I’m a little strange, but I enjoy the tens sessions. Hopefully it continues to be effective.

I bought a similar item (Cephaly) a few years ago for over £300. The battery failed to recharge after 2 years of moderate use (once or twice a month). The Lloyds product is very slightly less user friendly but equally effective once it gets going. For me the “prevention” option doesn’t help. However, the mode to use whilst having a migraine does help. I’m not sure that it “cures” the issue but it certainly relieves the pain whilst in use. Highly recommend- especially for the price.

I love this product and it is so much cheaper than the Cefaly version and their pads. Such a shame you can no longer get the pads which renders the product useless - hence I've returned! I gave it a three - if you could still get the pads would definitely be a 5 star review. Disappointed :-(

Received speedily and easy to unbox. Extensive manual which was easy to read. 3 programs - number 2 is preventative while 1 & 3 are to treat a migraine. I am starting to use program 2 for the daily 20mins for which the timings is controlled by the device. As others have found, this is a strange sensation which increases from a light touch to an intense feeling of pressure. I’m on day 3 and the 2 previous days I have fallen asleep before the end of the program, feeling relaxed when waking. I have yet to use program 1 or 3 but will update my review with information at that point. After nearly 40 years of migraines I am open to any treatment and for the small price I feel this currently a low outlay. I have yet to buy replacement pads which may be a cost pressure.

I suffer from migarines than can be severe iv tried multiple medications and preventatives that wax and wane over time eventually being unaffective. This machine helps me so much and gets me back into a position when I can function again. Immediately after using the pad I put it straight back onto the plastic sheet and put it back in the bag , thus far I havnt had any issues with the pads. Really do recommend 👌

I was recommended this by a neurologist for my chronic migraines. I find it helps at onset but not over long term usage. Took quite a while to get it to work correctly as there are no LCD screens to show and it takes around 60 seconds for the motion to be noticeable which means you are occasionally left waiting when it's not started correctly.
