Fancy shaker
It looks like a fancy salt shaker. It's my favorite one. Sturdy glass. Lots of salt comes out, so you have to be delicate, you know, fancy with it.

Great shaker!
I am very pleased with this salt shaker. I had one just like it that I broke. I like the flow from the holes on this shaker, alot of salt shakers have holes that are too big and make your food too salty. This one is perfect!

I bought these to replace an old pair of these that were chipped, etc.
My old ones could have been 40 years old. The feature I liked about this shaker is that it didn't put out too much salt. It turns out the holes in the cap are much larger to the point that the shaker puts out 3-4 times the salt as the old one. No, the old cap does not fit the new shaker.I'll probably buy some very small stainless steel screws and block off a few of the holes or block some holes on the inside with some epoxy.Hamilton Grove

Very Narrow Throat
These shakers are decent quality. The caps are very thin metal. My issue with them is that the throat at the top is so small it is ridiculously difficult to fill them. I suppose one could buy a miniature funnel, but that still wouldn't work very well. In my view, the throat needs to be twice the size it is.

practical elegance
Practical and beautiful, and affordable, I love these shakers for simple classic elegance. Holds sufficient amount of salt or pepper, pours evenly and the shape makes them easy to handle.

Beautiful Shakers
Not a set; you have to buy 2 if you want one for salt and one for pepper. These are exactly what I was looking for to replace my old set; beautiful with chrome (silver) tops. But would you believe after paying $5.50 a piece (thank goodness for free shipping), I found similiar shakers at Party City for 1.99 each. Still, I am happy with the shakers and would recommend them.
