Chuckie and Punkin Rule the World

This book is completely awesome! It demonstrates how children with widely differing characteristics (short or tall, athletic or musical, quiet or boisterous) can be successful and wonderful human beings. The illustrations are rich and beautiful. The book depicts two African American children with professionally successful parents. This is a great lesson for children of all races.

I love the illustrations and that even though the kids and their families may look different they are both special and loved and can be friends. Also loved the representation of two professional black couples raising children! Will definitely be gifting copies of this one! Five stars!

Really enjoyed reading this book to my little one (5 month old). The story is fun and a great way to teach concept of “compare and contrast”. The illustrations are also beautiful! Great seeing people of color represented in these stories.
