Great wallet!
Great wallet! Nice and thin, perfect for front-pocket carry.Outer material seems very tough; I'm hoping it's more durable than the last sailcloth wallet (different brand) I had. This wallet has a cash pocket that fits American currency. Anything taller or wider than American currency will need to be folded. There are four credit card sized slots, two on each side slightly offset from each other (so it's easy to remove the cards from the slots underneath). The top card on each side is visible through clear plastic. One of the reasons I chose this particular wallet was for the way the credit card slots are oriented; cards slide in horizontally from the "spine" of the wallet, rather than vertically from the top. I've lost cards out of wallets in the past that had the card slots openings towards the top. (In other words, when this wallet is closed it's impossible for cards to fall out).As seen in the pictures there is no exterior branding. On the interior there is a small cloth label sewn on, one side says "Flowfold" and the other says "MADE IN USA Carry the future".The sailcloth these wallets are made out of is reinforced, that's the diamond pattern visible in the pictures (much more visible in the pictures of the light-colored wallets). It's sort of cool, but I chose black and in the black it's only visible at certain angles. You can feel it within the cloth, but it's subtle.I have no trouble putting this in or taking this out of my pocket. The material is more slippery than any leather wallet, but not nearly as slippery as my previous sailcloth wallet. It stays put in my pocket, it's not slick enough to slip out on its own. Some sailcloth wallets make a crinkle sound when handled and opened, like paper being crumpled. This wallet is fairly quiet. Not silent like a leather wallet, but it doesn't crinkle. At the time of this review my wallet currently holds my driver's license, a credit card, 5 more cards the same thickness as a credit card, and $27 (a ten, two fives, and seven ones). It's fairly thin despite how much I have in it, definitely thinner than any leather billfold! (Side note: I wouldn't carry cash at all if it weren't for gas stations giving a discount for using cash instead of cards. Stupid gas stations, cash is so last century.)edit: Two years and a few months later, my Flowfold Vanguard looks almost the same as the day it arrived. Really the only sign of use is a slight bend on the corners from carrying it in my pocket. Attached are pictures.I am very impressed with how well my wallet has held up that I just bought the RFID blocking version: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071X32BHB

THis is perfect! I used to have a traditional leather billfold
THis is perfect! I used to have a traditional leather billfold, although it was somewhat slim, it still bothered me due to the weight of it when I filled it with all of my cards. I had 3 IDs, 3 CCs, Library Card, Ikea Card, Insurance cards, and some cash. The thing is literally half of the size of the old wallet. It also weighs nothing, but slowly I've gotten used to its weight and can feel the wallet still there. Overall, in a traditional sense the wallet itself is nothing new, its just super lightweight and just the right size to ensure that everything fits. The contents do shift, but not to the point where anything would fall out. The material interior is see through, and finding the right card is fast. The exterior reminds me of nylon, it's supposedly sailing cloth, so if it can withstand powerful winds, I guess it's tough enough to go in and out of my pockets multiple times without getting worn out. If you're looking for an efficient way of carrying the normal daily cards and cash this is perfect!

1yr review!!! held up amazingly!
I was looking for a minimalist wallet for my needs for years when I finally came across these Flowfold offerings. I picked one up in May 2018 and have been using it ever since. I'm posting this review in Sept 2019 and for the last year plus I have carried my work ID badge in my wallet to badge through secure doors, and I'm always on the move at the office which means the wallet comes in and out of my pocket dozens of times per day every day and is slapped across all manor of hard plastic textured card readers. I carry it in my front pocket along with keys and a rough textured tactical folding knife in one pocket or a surefire anodized aluminum rough textured flashlight in the other..My previous wallet was a thick heavy duty cordura nylon trifold that I love but want to be thinner, and unfortunately that company doesn't offer it in a bifold so I gave the Flowfold a chance. I was initially skeptical as the Flowfold material was a lot thinner and lighter than I was expecting, but as you can see from the pics I posted the wallet has held up amazingly well. Not just the materials, the stitching and constriction of the wallet haven't missed a beat either. I've averaged between 10 and 15 cards in the card pockets and they still hold the cards securely..After a year of really really hard use there's only one tiny spot where you can see the material has been rubbed on, and the color hasn't even faded. My only complaint is that I bought a black wallet and I keep loosing it on the many black surfaces at my house and at work, so I'm going to buy another one in a more easy to find color. I give it my highest recommendation.
