Worth the Wrestle

Sheri Dew has taken on the subject of questioning your testament of faith to yourself. She does this with humor, insight & a great deal of questions that may or may not have occurred to you. The concept of wrestling with the any Christian belief system & especially the Latter Day Saints belief in personal testimony, is so basically simple, yet profound. Simple questions asked, but getting to an answer is, indeed, well worth the wrestle. Sheri recounts real situations in her life & others that have show how the same situation can become an insightful, happy lifelong experience or a real downer, depending on your efforts. A straightforward genuine book about how to keep your faith and how it's okay to ask questions about pretty much everything. Even though you don't know everything, God does. It's a useful book for just about anyone who wants to increase their faith in Jesus Christ and learn about how to be at peace with not knowing everything in life. This book is written by a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'd also recommend you read the Book of Mormon if you haven't already, to learn more. It will knock your socks off. God loves you. Hang in there.

Great author... great message!

This book is a bit more serious than many of Ms. Dew's previous books. That said, it's a very thought provoking book. Glad I added it to my Sheri Dew collection. Yup, I'm a serious fan of her "real person, down to earth, says it like it is" style.

Great book helps you answer and develop questions about how to grow closer to our Heavenly Father.
