Physician Recommended Nutriceuticals PRN Eye Omega Advantage 120 Soft Gels

These were recommended by my eye doctor to prevent dry eye. To my pleasant surprise, they do relieve my dry eyes. It took about two weeks of recommended doses to notice a difference in my dry eyes. I do not have negative side effects like I have had with other Omega supplements like stomach (indigestion) or skin issues (acne). I also attribute this supplement for my improved cholesterol numbers. My 'good' cholesterol has increased and my "always borderline" bad cholesterol has reduced to normal levels for the first time in 16 years. Of course, this is anecdotal and is a personal experience. I am very pleased with my experience with this supplement.

As a 79 yr old T2 diabetic, I've had some eye issues in recent years. Last year I underwent cataract surgery and in that process the surgeon discovered IOP that was consistent with glaucoma and that was addressed during the surgery. Prior to the surgery I was getting dry eye problems that were present every day and I was referred to the PRN formulations as a possible treatment, but it only after my eye surgery that I was able to try both the DE and the EO versions. My experience has been that the EO actually has helped more than the DE, so I've been using that version for roughly 10 months. My only concern is that the pricing is a bit dear and not covered by insurance.

This came recommended by my husband's Opthamalogist. I like it because it contains an Omega-3 formula. However, it's expensive. My husband uses this daily in conjunction with Eye Science Macular Formula vitamins and the two together have been great for the health of his eyes. Since he uses this with the other eye vitamin formula, he only takes 2 soft gels a day, instead of the 4 recommended on the label. I have continued to order it regularly, regardless of price.

No way can I swallow these huge capsules. They may be good for me, but I just don't want to take them.

Great product. Very helpful with dry eye and overall mood improvement. No fish taste. Pills are large and you do have to take 4 a day.
