Nowhere in the description or features and details section does it say how many shelves come in this package. In the title of this item, it clearly says the word "shelves." There is only ONE shelf, for $40! There's even a picture of THREE shelves in the description area. TERRIBLY misleading. Whoever wrote up the description of this product is a simpleton. You have one job, pathetic.

The media could not be loaded.  Great if your goal is to have a shelf sag off level? Another hit and a miss for a deep shelf. I think if they would have brought the support bracket posts out further and added on another post it might be a sturdier installation? These shelf aren't cheap either... Update: Problem fixed... I purchased some L brackets and installed on top of the shelf on each end to take care of the shelf sagging.

This is a great accent shelf for smaller lightweight items.Warning: It is not very sturdy and made of very thin board. It was easy to install up until securing the shelf to the metal housing. I could not get the screw holes to match up and gave up for fear of buckling the boards. For the price it's a good accent shelf.

I tried several different brands of floating shelves. You get what you pay for and Welland is hands down the best I've seen. I wanted a 24" shelf to mount centered between two wall studs. The support brackets for the other two cheaper brands I tried were less than 14" wide (even though the shelf was 24" wide). This means at best you could only mount to one wall stud (shelves have the highest weight carrying capability when mounted to wall studs). The Welland mount was by far the best quality and was intelligently designed to straddle two studs. Very easy to install and the directions were the most complete. Shelf was highest quality too. One of the other brands I tried had streaks across the shelf top caused by too much finish which ran in streams down the shelf top.

The shelf itself appears very sturdy and due to the nature of its construction (wood laminate over pressed wood honey comb), there are no rounded edges.It slides onto a metal bracket which is mounted to the wall. Make sure to find studs to attach it to. Even so, the bracket is a bit flexible and I sure wouldn’t trust it to hold the claimed 30 lbs. Maybe it will, but it doesn’t feel like it.Overall, it does what I need it for and it looks pretty good.
