Yes, they are thin. But that makes it easier to tear when you get to the dump site for recycling. Our town makes you bring your recycling to them IF you want to. And you cannot leave plastic bags in the bin. You have to open the bag and dump everything out then throw the bag away. I then take the bags to the mobile recycling bin for plastic bags. Very inconvenient but I like to try my best to recycle what I can. These bags make it a little easier. And being they are blue it helps the kids distinguish which trash can they are suppose to put the recyclables in.

These Hefty recycle bags are great! They’re strong and hold a lot without tearing, even with heavier recyclables. The drawstring makes them easy to tie up and carry. They fit my bin perfectly and make taking out recycling much easier and definitely a reliable choice. They are priced well also.

Works like they should

I use these blue Hefty bags for my recycle. We go through a lot of recycled product so these come in handy, especially to differentiate from my trash products. My only complaint is i with they were a little thicker.
