Colorful quilts - each shown in different color ways!
This in a wonderful book, featuring patterns for 12 modern quilts, all created with solid Kona cotton precut fabric. The directions for each quilt are very easy-to-follow. Especially helpful, the quilts are shown in different color ways (this can give you many ideas for creating your own unique quilts). I recommend this book! Please mark if you find my review helpful. Thank you so much!

a Fresh Approach to Modern Quilts
This book has a fresh approach to modern quilt making using precut fabric packs such as jelly rolls and layer cakes. The photos are gorgeous and the step by step instructions are clear and well defined. I cannot wait to make several of these. I like that the author has chosen to show the projects in multiple color ways, something which many books do not do. That way if you aren't a fan of a certain color, and you have problems visualizing the finished quilt in another color made up, she shows you options. The book actually tells you which commercially available pre cut bundle(s) were used to create the visually pleasing quilts. A must have!

Colors To Drown In!
I have many, many quilt books; in fact I believe you could say I am addicted to them. Often I think it would be great to do one of the projects. This time, however, I immediately ordered the fabric I needed for several quilts and am already excitedly starting. I do love color and these quilts have abundant, rich color in them. If you are a black and white person or one who like pastel or brown palettes this may not get your eye like it did mine. Instructions are straightforward and many of the quilts can be adapted for larger quilts.

Great book for Kaufman Kona Solids in modern quilts
This is a great book if you like working with solids and a great way to learn color combining in mostly modern quilts. Such quilts require a lot of quilting to give them the needed pizazz, but I'm trying to learn more free motion and angular quilting techniques, so this is good for me. The only reason I gave the book three stars is the overuse of one manufacturer's color combos, Robert Kaufman's Kona solids.

Very well presented designs.
Love to look at your color projects. Stunning. Good ideas to inspire the reader. To have the option of a digital edition is fabulous because is very easy to consult it at any time and anywhere.

Not for me
Well done presentation of color ideas. I did not really like most of the quilt projects and would never utilize this book for that purpose. I did return the book.

Quilt Books
This book I really loved, it was every thing that you need to know about colour and read it cover to cover. Usually I like skimming through a quilt book and choosing a quilt or block to try, but not this one.
