I love that this leash has 2 handles. It is the only style of leash I will buy. I have an 110# lab that gets excited about her walks and tends to pull at the beginning. The shorter handle allows me to have better control of her when needed. I also love that feature for when we are approaching other people, dogs, or intersections. The leash is durable and easy to clean.

Nice leash, handle is comfy and its really fade resistant to washing and the sun. Will buy another.

My dog’s leash needed to be updated and after some searching I found this. It appears to be made by the same brand as the old one, but with a slightly different name. So far it works great and I love the color.

I didn't know I needed a soft and thick double handled leash until I bought a soft and thick double handled leash. In fact, I bought two of them, one each for my two labs.I was looking for a leash to attach to their harness. I often let them run off leash with their harness on, but wanted to buy new leashes as their basic old ones were getting frayed and dirty and just seemed due for replacement. I found myself spending a lot of time looking at leashes on Amazon. I really hadn't ever considered all the styles and possibilities!I saw these and some similar ones, and decided I liked the idea of a double handle for the added control as needed. The thick padded handles didn't mean anything to me at the time. The reflective aspect of the ones I chose was a bonus as I typically do our public walking during day time, but remembered sometimes we are out for a walk at dusk (all other times is in our big yard in the country). I liked that it was a 6ft leash without being made for tiny dogs (often evidenced by narrow strap). I have 2 big labs and I prefer the wider strap. I loved the bright colors and since they matched the color of the harnesses I have for them best, it was my deciding factor.Now I am here to tell you that the padded handle is oddly rather wonderful. It doesn't cut into the hand, it offers added stability and control and it is simply comfortable. The clasp is sturdy, the extra handle has been well utilized already and works to keep dogs closer to me as needed. The little loop to hook keys, poop bags, or whatever is a little detail that adds functionality that I hadn't thought I needed or cared for before. What was just a leash to me, is now also an adornment with added comfort and functionality. I have only been using these for a couple of weeks, but so far they are holding up. I will absolutely amend my review if there are any problems in the near future after further use.As always, don't let your dog chew on it. No leash is going to be indestructible to a determined chewer.

We have 8 month old yellow lab puppy and although she is overall a small lab (40 ish lbs right now), she is STRONG! And she gets so distracted and pulls a lot...walking is a work in progress and she has good days and bad days. It gets really hard when I walk her with our toddler in the stroller though and needed a leash with better grip and control. We were wrapping a cheap nylon leash around our hands to shorten it and eventually I just couldn't take the pulling anymore. Just not enough control with our old leash.This leash changed my life! I have so much more control over our pup and I am walking her vs. her walking me. The padding is nice on the loop handles and the length is perfect. The short loop keeps her close and it's easy to correct her when she pulls. And it has enough slack to give her some freedom when taking her out to go to the bathroom etc. The only thing is that it was a little longer than our other leash, which is also 6ft, but I think that the loop on our old leash was measured into the 6ft measurement and this one the loop is maybe extra? I haven't actually measured it because it's not a huge difference.Point being...I should have ordered this a LOOONNNGGG time ago. We also use it to go on short runs with her and it works well for that too. If you are hesitating you won't regret this purchase. WORTH THE MONEY. Will make walks with your strong dog much more enjoyable!

Padded handle, second grip for more control and a place to clip the poop bag holder. This one seems a big stiffer and the hand loop a bit smaller than my previous one, which is why I’m giving it 4 stars.The color is gorgeous and, in case anyone else is looking for a leash to match the Easy walk deluxe harness in ocean, this is a great match - you have to look really closely to see that it’s not perfect. Very pleased with this purchase!

I bought 2 of these leashes based on reviews from others sellers & I am SO glad I didnt buy the cheaper ones I had my eye on. These are so nice. Well sewn..High quality & strong attractive material. I bought 1 pink & 1 red and love them both equally. 6 foot is the perfecto length for the around town dog walking and LOVE the shorter handle loop sewn 1 ft from the swivel to use when you wish to hold the dogs close during your walk. This is a must for me nowbecause it's WAY more secure than even my heavy duty retractable leashes for Bear our 103 lb Chow/Shepard mix rescue + his best friend pure Chow Chow buddy Bella that only weighs 55 lbs but tends to pull too hard when a bunny comes within sight range. Let me second the comments from other customers saying they didnt even know how much they needed these cushiony handles 'til trying them out! They are an absolute dream! So soft and plush. No more sore wrists for me. I was torn whether to get the silvery stitching for reflective qualities during night walks or not but I did and love it. So attractive!So If you are on the fence like I was whether to spend the few extra dollars for this brand - don't be! Buy it! I only write reviews for items I am super impressed with - so i had to share how nice these are with others folks shopping for a leash. Love love love my new leashes & can totally see them lasting a veryyy long time - might even be the last leashes I will ever need to buy.
