It helps pull some heat from the PS5. This stand isn't a miracle machine by any means, but it does help. The controller charging ports are USB-C plugs that are stationary, I could see this breaking with kids/people that aren't careful plugging them in. Has 3 USB ports on the front. It is intended to plug directly into the PS5 which consumes your one USB port, but runs fine off of a generic wall USB adapter also.

It’s a nice fit! The cooling station works as designed, it’s very quiet and circulates plenty of air. Nothing complicated. The station compliments the PS5 with its sleek design.

Great cooling solution for the ps5. My unit was giving me the overheat warnings. I cleaned it regularly, had an external fan pointed right at it, tried everything. This stand/fan/charging station is perfect. It really draws the heat from the unit. You can feel the air being sucked in from the top, and you can definitely feel the heat being vented out the back. Make sure behind the unit is clear so that hot air has somewhere to go. Plug and play, charges both controllers and has 3 USB ports in the front to charge any other accessories. It is powered by the ps5 via USB, so it only runs when the unit is in or in rest mode. Three settings on the fan. I run the highest setting while gaming then turn it down to the lowest during the rest mode just to fully cool the unit. Yes you can hear the fan, shouldn't make a difference if you have any volume going or if you have a headset on. I highly recommend this as an inexpensive cooling solution for anyone with overheating warnings

I received a PS5 for Christmas from my wife and was excited to start playing. I am not an avid gamer at all (thanks to life and my 3 year old), but try to play for an hour or so a few times a week. After playing for a longer duration one night I realized how HOT the playstation can get. Kind of freaked me out. So I did some research and found a lot of these cooling stations on amazon. After a lot of research and review reading, I decided to give this a try. Was easy to set up and place my PS5 slim in it. Was able to charge my controller on the station as well, which is a big plus. There are 3 fan speeds, and yes, 3 is the loudest, but it's a low hum...nothing crazy at all. I usually set it at speed 2 or 3 when I play and it definitely seems to help. My only complaint is that the playstation essentially only "sits" in the station, rather than clipping or screwing in. It may be different with other PS5 models. Makes me a little nervous, but the size of the base of the station keeps it held in place very well and it seems sturdy when sitting in it - I would've just liked to hear a "clip" sound when setting it in. Other than that, it's great and I recommend it. Initially I went with the white base, but my entertainment center is a brown/black color, so I opted to return and get the black color instead. Really blends in with the entertainment center and I really only notice the PS5 and fan lights. Overall I'd recommend!

Instructions were vague. Went together well. Good way to keep controllers stored and charged. Adds some stability. Haven’t used cooling yet.

I purchased this station in Aug 2023. I believed the reviews saying it was a good unit even though the warnings of the fans being noisy after a few months was there. Well, I to have this issue with the fans. I can't turn up past the first setting, the spund it makes is unbearable. I thought maybe there was dust causing this so I used compressed air to clean it out. Still making the noise. I took it apart (which is a pain) and found it to be nice and clean from dust and debris. I think the fans they use are junk. I am going to buy new fans and upgrade the unit. I have not had any trouble from the controller charger or USB ports. The controllers charge quickly, especially if you leave the PS5 in rest mode. (Update) I am now having issues with the charging indicator lights. The chargers will still charge but the lights will no longer go to red, which is an indication of charging from the base station. The controller blinks orange which let me know it is charging. The fans are still noisy and need replacement.
