The surround comes in a 4 segments that are easily fitted together. The jigsaw puzzle connectors need a firm squeeze to connect, but that means that the fitting is firm and not loose. There are no mis alignments and forms a nice circle with no gaps. Having been fitted around a Unicorn dart board for a few weeks now, it has taken a number of darts that missed the board. The darts stay in the surround without hitting the wall behind, or falling to the floor and sticking in there. Does exactly what it needs to and comes cheaper than some other options from other brands
