ReadGear budget friendly and feature rich ,basically a future proof gamepad with hifi features that most high cost ones have !!
Hi Guys I'm AKS or Love Animesh Saha a Product Reviewer at Amazon. Today I'm gonna be reviewing the Redgear Smartline Gamepad cuz it's awesome and too much pocket friendly if you wanna enjoy gaming like XBOX on PC..Ha ha !! Really That's a truth ! This is the 2nd time I'm purchasin this gamepad cuz the one that I had purchased, I gave it to my lil brother cuz he was also fond of controllers and he urged me so I passed it to my lil bro.. Let me start by discussing a little bit about my delivery experience.I ordered this product on 10th of aug and received it on 15th.It's a little bit more than expected.I couldn't complain about the flawless packaging of the product as I received it 2nd time. But one thing I noticed was that the packaging was same as on the 1st time. [...] The Red Gear Gamepad features a lot of things that are not found in most of the gamepads near this budget. Build Quality : According to the build quality its all made up of plastic black body but not anywhere rubberized grippers. It has two analog sticks and a 8-way D-pad for most of the movement controls. The D-pad found in this one is not circular plated one but all separate. It has 10 digital keys to assign most of the actions in game. It lags the Rapid fire button to perform any kind of fast button presses. The Analog sticks are bumped up and the key layout is pretty much similar to the PS3 controller but not like the X-BOX one. Features 1.8 meter cable to maintain distance from the monitor but you can't go more far than 2 meters. Performance : Overall performance during gameplay is awesome and registers key presses as soon as you hit. It supports almost all titles of PS3 , X-Box and PC. You can just plug it and it will install few drivers in several minutes and you will be ready to go. The integrated force feedback will let you experience most of the in game thrills. Best part of this gamepad is that it has support for both X-input and Direct-input to support lot of games. The vibrations are not so much strong but best to feel the play. It has support for OS from Win XP to all the way to Win 10. The verdict : The conclusion is that you should get it if you're low on budget but want hifi features like the XBOX one gamepads have. The layout is not as hitech as you expect but what you can expect in such a price offered by this gamepad. Just don't get a reason to buy it have a look of what you're getting at what investment. That is how you should judge products !! Right na !! if you want to give it try then the links are down below : Redgear Smartline Wired Gamepad See you guys in the next one !! Have a sweet day !! Thanks !!

Solid product for the price
INTRO: Bought this gamepad as a temporary backup when my previous one started failing. Reviewing it after over two months of more than moderate usage. PROS: Got it for just 249/- during a lightning deal. Product packaging was good. Solid protection and everything was laid out well. Cable length is 1.8m and its sufficiently thick and well made. Build quality is pretty decent for the price. Analog sticks aren't anything great but are far better than the ones found on similarly priced Enter/Quantum gamepads. Unlike the analog sticks on the latter, these are sturdy and haven't started squeaking or getting stuck yet. Similarly, the face buttons are much better than the ones found on other gamepads in this price range. D-pad is PS style and its firm and easy to use. Vibration feedback is decent. A major advantage this gamepad has over the other cheap ones is the presence of Xinput mode. This means any game that supports an Xbox controller will work fine with it. Tested it with PES 2018 demo, The Witcher 3, Skyrim (both versions), Rise of the Tomb Raider & Dead Space 2. No need for x360ce or Xpadder, just plug and play. And you can always switch back to DInput mode if and when you need to. CONS: Shoulder buttons are average at best. While LB/RB are alright, LT/RT are wonky. They are a bit loose and you need to press them right. But they do work properly so its just a matter of getting used to them. The analog sticks might be better than the other cheap gamepads I mentioned but they still have large deadzones in the center because of which you can't quite slow down/vary your character's walking speed or the camera movement speed at will the way you can with a 360 controller or something of similar quality. Input from the analog sticks isn't even registered till they have been pushed halfway in any direction. Unless you move the sticks very carefully and very slowly once its outside its deadzones, its almost like using a keyboard. One speed or nothing. Then again, can't expect Xbox quality triggers for 249/-, right? Plus even more expensive controllers suffer from this issue. Pressing L3/R3 isn't great or even easy. Again, its better than others in its price range but you get what you pay for. Its especially not fun in games where you have to use L3 to jump while using LS to control your character. SUMMARY: Well worth it for anything under 300 bucks. If that's all you have or want to spend, then avoid those Enter/Quantum gamepads like the plague and go for this one.

Good but don't buy this one
Dont buy this if you want precise thumb stick. My character was always running if i use thumb stick. To make it walk you have to move stick very little in direction you want and it is really hard on this device. I have tested this product on some games and few of them were not detecting this controller. It is a common issue with all 3rd party controller. You have to download a software to make this device in some games. Instructions for that is available on youtube. It supports X input mod and direct input mode. Well other then stick issue i have not faced any problem yet. Built quality is not like ps4 and xbox controller but it is good enough to work for 6 to 8 month maybe. Its really cheap so you can buy better one next time. I would suggest buy Redgear Pro Series Wired Gamepad (http://www.amazon.in/Redgear-Pro-Gamepad-support-supports/dp/B01FJHV47Q/ref=pd_sim_147_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=0N63J456JVPR6HE5BXGS) then this one. Reviews are really positive for that and i'm also going to try it next time.Thank you ffor reading my review, I hope it will help you

Clain warranty not so easy. Poor Quality wire attachment.
Gamepad is good but wire quality not good Pros: Gamepad good in this price bracket. It gives you 2 analog sticks. Which very useful to play xbox pc games and ps2 and ps3 emulator. Trigger also responsive. But not so tactile like a decent controller. Vibration quality also decent. Action buttons also same as trigger's quality. Cons: Build quality not as i want. Buttons not tactile not smooth as i think Wired not fix in the controller. Wire just attach between 2 plastic things. Which easy to pull them to out from controller In some days. Very bad experience. There no any kind of bend safety to wire. Which provide a support to it. After 3 month usage: After three months there another issue find. The gamepad connect to computer but pc shows unauthorized device. I mailed company to they register my complaint and pick up my product. They don't tell me. I need to packed the controller before give it to courier boy. After courier boy gone i received a mail please packed your controller before ship them. Now who will responsible if product damage in transit. And how to i see where it is. Very dissatisfied that kind of gaming product franchise brand. They lost their valuable coustomer, doing that kind of foolness. I hope they replaced my unit asap. Thank you
