I found this budare on Instagram and I can say that it's the best I've ever tried!! It's versatile, non-stick, and just looks great. I can cook all of my family's traditional recipes from Venezuela, and it also works great as a griddle pan for when I want to grill meats or veggies. Super fast delivery from Venezuela to Toronto. 10/10 would recommend!

The box contains the same instructions posted in the product page, written in English and Spanish. The budare works on gas or electric stoves, but does not work on induction stoves. For electric stoves, try and use the position that closely matches the budare's diameter, otherwise it takes longer to heat and edges aren't as hot as the center -- that's to be expected and not the budare's fault.It takes a few tries to figure out what «medium heat» and «medium low heat» means, depending on the stove you're using. Once you figure that out, you can heat the budare while making the dough, and streamline your arepa making process.

I was looking for a type of griddle to make arepas since I have a gas stove. I came across this budare and saw it was from Venezuela, and had great reviews. My arepas came out great! Crispy outside, soft inside. It is smaller than I thought, but Venezuelan arepas are smaller and thicker than Colombian arepas. If you make the Venezuelan arepas you can fit 4-5. I love this budare and I’m glad I bought it!
