Vagabond's House

I bought this for a friend who just bought a home!!The poem Vagabond’s House is incredible!!!! Truly a treasure. I had owned a hard bound book since 1964 and to find it still published was wonderful‼️‼️

I first read this poem when I was about 15 years of age ... I considered poetry to be boring for the most part ... but when I read Vagabond's House I was convinced that it IS possible to write contemporary poetry that is delightful. I was happy when I discovered it was still in print. And I received no monetary payment to write this review.

Different kind of poetry

Hits the soul.

Vagabond's House is my all time favorite poem. Don Blanding can make you see and hear his description of his ideal house as though you are there. The rug at the foot of the stairs, the wind in the trees, the flowers in the garden. All in such achingly loving detail.
