Professional Nursing Practice: Concepts and Perspectives (6th Edition)

This textbook gives a great, thorough, yet concise introduction to the art and science of nursing. I would recommend it to any nursing student. It also features critical thinking tools throught the readings to keep the student focussed on applying the information on a personal basis. I haven't finished it yet, but I like it so far. However, it's not the type of book that features many visuals such as pictures. It's words and paper pretty much, so if you're looking for an "eye-candy" textbook, you won't find it here.

After borrowing a copy from a friend who's a few semesters ahead of me, I decided to go ahead & get a copy for myself. Why? 1) I like to highlight most study materials, and, 2) I'll keep this as a reference as I go thru the rest of the RN to BSN program. I thought it was reasonably well-written and organized.

I purchased this book for a faculty who needed one of our required texts for fundamental nursing. Amazon can send these to me really fast, then I can use my receipt to be reimbursed for making a departmental purchase. This required textbook has been used in our BSN and in our APNI (other BSN degree - not nursing - to MSN degree program).

Have not used book yet for school but just FYI, the access code does not come with book! I was able to eventually get code for not extra cost. In the end it did save me money.

Book came in great condition. Shipping was fast. It is a required nursing book, but considering all the other nursing books I have used, this one is an easy read.

As expected. Happy with purchase.

A summary of nursing expectation but in an educated explanation I guess. Yeah! Exactly what you already now but now backed with a little research.

Very informative for writing papers and resume's, other than that I found it boring. I will hold on to it for the writing factor.
