Mil spec grease
AeroShell 64 is specified by the US military as the lubricant to be used when assembling M series firearms, which obviously includes civilian AR's. It is used between the threads of the barrel nut & upper receiver. This ensures that the two can be separated in the future if required, without damage. You can buy a small container containing about 1 oz for about a third of the cost of an entire tube of 14 oz.

Good product. Reasonably priced for my intended use. This is the mil-spec anti-seize product used during assembly of barrel nuts to upper receiver as well as other assemblies, on AR-15 platform rifles. There are kits with a small container, brush, and disposable gloves, but this "full-size" container is appropriate for my use/needs.Recommend this product for this use.

Simply the best AR grease anywhere !!!
If you build or maintain AR platform rifles you need this grease. Only a complete fool uses Locktite on a weapon, everyone knows that but what they don’t know is what to use. Aero Shell has been used by Military and Law Enforcement Armorers for years. It is the choice of professionals for one reason, it performs. This is an extreme pressure grease designed for aircraft. Many companies purchase this in bulk and repackage it for sale to consumers. Using this for rifle building and maintenance this tube should last for years.

Not a ton to say, but it's the real deal and works as it should. Was packed well, and priced right I would buy again, and likely will.

What the kit required
This was recommended to me for gun cleaning/greasing and I wanted to ensure I had enough to last a long while. Well-wrapped, it arrived in fine condition, not leaking. Intended for a grease gun, not sure if I will crack it open all the way for that or just take out a smidgen and seal it up again. My intention is to load some syringes with it for regular use and store the rest...regardless, shipped well and as expected.
