The lid doesn’t attach to the storage box in any way, it just sits on top. For Christmas decorations, I would prefer it attach, even it it just Velcro; something anyway. Other than that, it is well made easy to use and si love having the ability to select sizes for my ornaments. I may even order another just because of the benefits of the box and find a way to keep the lid from coming off when moving stored decorations.

Used for stemless wine glasses red and white. sturdy. Easy to carry. Great value.

These hold my larger ornaments nicely. I really like the storage box in the fact you can remove the top layer with ornaments inn it and have access to all the ornaments. The only reason I have it 4 stars instead of 5 was I didn't feel their was enough support on the bottom for the top layer. Not a big deal though, I just cut a piece of cardboard and added it under the ornament divider. It's very easy to assemble, not sure why some people had difficulty. It's common sense!!

I was pleased with my purchase. I am pretty sure the items will be safe in the garage. Next season it will be much easier to get ready for Christmas. I also purchased the bag with wheels for the tree. Much better than the box and safer to keep critters out.

This is a very nice chest for storing holiday ornaments, but I did have to make a few adjustments to it. This item ships completely flat and must be assembled, but I found that to be easy. Once the chest is assembled you realize that there is only ONE see-through side, and you can only see 8 full ornaments. That was a bit of a disappointment!Also, I immediately saw that the 'slip on' cover/ lid would NOT be secure enough to contain the precious Christmas ornaments that would be stored on the top layer. I fixed that problem by cutting a piece of cardboard to fit over the top layer of ornaments and then I secured that with a tie. I put the top layer back in the chest and then put the cover/ lid on over that.**Be aware that once you have assembled the squares that hold the ornaments, you'll find the squares to be very, very large. This may be good for some ornaments, but not so good for others. I cut a few cardboard pieces to place crosswise into many of the large squares. This allows me to put TWO regular sized ornaments into one large square. Ornaments will still require tissue paper or bubble wrap for cushioning.

I actually purchased this because I'm crocheting a granny square blanket from a specific pattern so I need access to certain colors according to the pattern. This is the only thing I could think of to keep everything together, but separate. It went together quite easily and holds all of my skeins. The only downside is that it had a funny smell which I don't want to transfer to my yarn, so I'll air it out outside for a bit. After the blanket is done, I'll probably use it to store more yarn (I'm a skein collector :)

I use these boxes to store my hand made quilted ornaments in. I also use them to transport the ornaments to the craft markets to sell these ornaments. So far, I've bought 3 of them. They are easy to load into my car for travel and can be stacked to reduce the storage space in my workshop. Each cell is 4" x 4" x 4" so plenty of room to not crush the embelleshments on the ornaments.

Just wanted I was looking for my oversized Christmas ornaments.

Fits large ornaments or small ones if you put 2 in each square with option to move dividers to make smaller holes. I cut out extra dividers to make more spots so it holds many more ornaments. Would have been nice if it zipped shut.
