Gift value: This axe is awesome. The handling is great and the balance is perfect for hard work. The best thing is it’s great in harsh weather conditions because it’s polymer handle.

Handle compartment blew out of axe and broke the first time it was used.

This isn't a bad axe to keep in your camping gear. It will definitely hold an edge if needed, however the sheath is absolutely awful and one of the biggest downfalls of this product. The over all performance of this product is good about average to any other axe. The weight is modest for an axe it'll do the job in the woods. I have actually spit quite alot of wood with this axe and it's help up great. The grip of the handle is good. Overall the value is great the only reason I gave a 4 star is because the sheath.

I really like the axe it splits wood well and has a great feel and weight balance. The storage area at the bottom is complete garbage and they really need to do away with it. For that part it's clear someone designed it who has never used an axe. It's useless gimmicky garbage The rest of the axe is great. I'd give it 4 stars if it weren't for the trash handle.
