Sanus VLF628-B1
Great full motion TV bracket. It is sturdy and does not sag. Super Sanus support and only a phone call away. They will walk youbthrough the install or provide direction or videos and even a site that calculates the mounting hole heights with only the height you want. Most or all TV’s are preloaded and it is so simple to use. I wanted mine above the furniture so you treat the furniture as the floor and everything is measured off of it! Bravo Sanus!

They are not kidding about their US-based Customer Support....
This was my first TV wall mount project, and I failed to do any research for my particular TV, mistakenly assuming VESA standards ruled. My 2015 LG EF-9500 55” OLED turned out to be an exception to that. I have a large 3D Blu-Ray collection and this TV is one of the last models that supports 3D playback. For the record, LG had a $400 proprietary wall mount which had been long discontinued and not available. Another company listed a wall mount for this particular TV, but it appeared significantly inferior to the Sanus in design and overall quality.Ordered the Sanus VLF628-B1 mount without knowing what I realized halfway thru the project: the mount is NOT compatible with this model, according to the Mount Finder on their website. Of course I only realized this after I had already mounted the wall-bracket, ignoring the process laid out in the manual (excellent, BTW). Pictures 2 & 3 clearly show the 4 mount sockets were not in a VESA/square pattern but in different vertical alignment!!! Spent some quality time searching for any kind of bracket extension, came up empty....again at this point I had spent 4 hours on this project with the wall mount solidly fused to my bedroom wall of what appeared to be a doomed effort from the beginning.Another thing I failed to realize how robust and well-engineered this mount was. That being said, the shipping weight of the Sanus mount is SUPER HEAVY compared to its mass! Out of desperation, I had called Sanus Customer Support after an idea popped into my head. The included TV mount bracket assembly shown in pictures 2-3 consists of two adjustable vertical brackets to provide support for attaching the TV to the mount. But on my TV they only lined up to 2 out of 4 sockets!!! After a further exchange with Sanus support, their Product Engineering team had graciously agreed to ship an EXTRA TV mount assembly via Next Day Air free of charge to try out my idea to add two more vertical support brackets for a total of 4 onto the rails. I’m not a handyman by any means, however, after a few minor adjustments I had managed the impossible, the bracket hole patterns had finally lined up to the 6 mm metal sockets and finally managed the TV mounted to the modified bracket (Pictures 4-6)! The rest of the work took less than 20 minutes not counting the wiring, glass shelves installation and APC AC-wallwart installation.Obviously the main “Lessons Learned” from this project is that prior research is a must. Regardless of how well-engineered and manufactured a product like the Sanus mount is, there are thousands of devices out there to accommodate growing by the minute. What took me by surprise this day and age, just how far Sanus Customer Support was willing to go out of their way to accommodate a use case the product simply wasn’t designed to support, not to mention the additional cost of accelerated shipping and the extra part itself!I have since then placed another order for a different Sanus mount to take care of my 2018 SONY 49” X800S UHD LED panel for my home office. Yes, it does have a 200 mm VESA socket pattern but it’s good to know there is someone to answer the phone if something unexpected happens....

Easily holds up my 100+ pound TV
When buying an 85" TV, one must plan ahead for potential problems. The first one I eliminated was buying a cheap mount to hold up an expensive and heavy TV. I had visions of hearing a huge CRASH in the home theater room while making breakfast in the kitchen. There is an old saying "penny wise but pound foolish" and that definitely applies here.So I searched for articulating mounts that could hold up the weight at full extension and the choices were abysmal. Most looked like they would hold up an empty soup can but not much more. The problem was in the metal chosen to make these flimsy designs, again the "pound foolishness" directly applied. One thing you can do is scan the shipping weight of the mount and see whose weighs in on the high side. It is these types that I personally focused on. Buying a mount that weighs 1% of the TV weight would probably result in the dreaded CRASH.So, by eliminating the cheapies, I found this one. It appeared to be made well and with dual arms [something else I thought would add to strength] and viola! A choice was made. The next issue would be in properly attaching it to a wall stud. While one stud would "work", I decided to use three studs instead. Adding two horizontal 1"x6"x36" oak boards and using six 3" lag bolts gave the mount a firm foundation. Plus being behind the TV hid the need for this overkill approach. I made sure the oak boards were horizontal, at the proper stud spacing, and then aligned the provided template to properly position the holes for the wall mount. I then removed the oak boards from the wall.I installed 1/4 x 20 T-nuts at the marked holes on the rear of the oak boards and then used the lag bolts to reattach them to the studs. With bolts and washers in hand, I attached the wall mount to the oak boards. You could probably use two studs but heck, I'm the kind of person that likes things to be over-designed and overbuilt giving me that level of comfort free from worry. Truly, this wall mount is not going anywhere. It took three of us and cotton gloves to hang this monster TV on the mount and after installing the lock screw [prevents the TV from accidentally jarring loose from the mount] it is now solid.Articulation works great and I can sleep at night.

Well built
It’s built like a tank and the quality is out of this world. It is pricey but it’s well worth the money spent. I really didn’t even buy it to pull out. I bought it because it’s near impossible to get stuff plugged in with a flush mounted and now I pull her out and can stand behind my tv and plug in stuff with ease. So it always stays in place until I’m ready to change something in the back. I’m sure many can relate to what I’m saying. Very easy to install with great directions, but not for the novice. Call someone who knows what their doing. And please have plenty of people on hand to left the TV. One con is it is very stiff to tilt up and down, so be very careful with this. Don’t damage your screen by to much pressure when tilting.

Very solid TV mount
Excellent TV mount !We bought this to mount our new TV in a wall opening. (See pictures)I really like the 28" extension. It's smooth and VERY strong. No worry about it breaking.I would give it five stars except that the unit we received was extremely stiff and required a LOT of force to move in and out. After examining the construction, we figured out that one side was missing a spacer. This caused the unit to be super stiff and hard to adjust. We loosened the hinges slightly and now it work great. Must have been a manufacturing flaw on the one we received.

Excellent bracket and at a great price
Decided on Sanus after quite a lot of research and this one was the cheapest we could buy at £90 cheaper than other stores. Very well made and does exactly as it says on the tin. Instructions could be better but we got through it. Very pleased with our purchase.

The product is heavy and therefore an extra hand installing it is really a must
Love the product, I had to extend my TV 20” to clear the cabinet…this was easy to do after installing it
