Genuine Allison 1000 Deep Pan Kit w Filter Lock 2001-Present - Allison Deep Pan (29536522), Internal Deep Filter (29542824), AND External Spin On Filter (29539579)

Was looking to replace my Allison transmission filter and came across this kit. It had both the spin on and inside filters but even better was that the kit is a Allison deep steel pan and extended filter with a filter lock to prevent the filter from working loose and sucking air and provides 3 additional quarts of fluid capacity. Excellent value and super easy to install. Just needed to purchase 3 gallons of fluid, the pan gasket is reusable.

There's nothing like using genuine products on your truck, they fit, they use original type seal etc so you can trust that they won't leak, the extra capacity will help keeping my Allison cool & in good shape as I do a lot of miles.

So far so good. Going on about 2,000 miles with this set, no leaks that I can see. This set is cheaper than just the aftermarket pans out there. This pan is used on the allison used in the Top Kick trucks so it fits up perfectly with the ones used in the GM HDs. Can't really go wrong with more fluid, temps seem to be slightly lower.

Added 10.5 Qts for a refill of trans fluid.Perfect fit Allison quality.Do make sure original internal filter seal comes out of its mounting area.

Added capacity helps a little with temperatures but also helps extended service intervals. Filter lock is nicely machined.
