much lighter than a bulky trolley / floor jack
Powerbuilt 20 ton bottle jack : Fully extended at 18 1/4 " which was a little taller than the specs listed. I wanted the tallest jack , so went with th 20 ton , even though won't be lifting that much , good to have something extra sturdy. Much lighter in weight than my old beat up floor jack and it takes up one fourth the space, so the bottle jack will replace the bulky 2 ton floor jack that I kept in the pickup truck. So when releasing the jack , the cylinder only drops until the weight is off and decends no more on it's own without some coaxing. I wedged the end of a tire iron and easily pried it down more to remove the jack from under the frame. Then the cylinder will manually push completely down.Probably best to tighten the release valve when storing the jack to prevent a fluid leak.

jack itself looks and functions but the ad said there was a case included but did not receive it.
