The light is very bright. The lamp is sturdy and looks great.

High quality, bright light
Excellent, natural warm white, easy on the eyes (the claimed high CRI rating seems to be accurate). It puts lots of light where it should be--a true indoor spotlight. What keeps this from being a 5 rating overall is that there seems to be no reliable position of the switch from unit to unit. For my installation it was perfect, but judging from other pictures and the official ones, there's no way to know where the inline switch will be on the one you order. However, this is a minor thing. Pricewise, my guess is that what makes this up to twice the price of similar units is the high-quality light, which I'm very pleased with.
